It feels good to be back again ^^

After my latest AMV was done in January, nearly 10 months have passed until I came up with a new AMV, so I thought I should make my newest creation a bit popular and find out what people think about it ^^.

Anime: FF7 Advent Children
Music: Flesh Field - Uprising

Warning! It's really big (so make sure you possess a fast connection)

Yes, sure, the genre is Action in the first instance. I don't like Action, either, so it's okay if you are not interested. However, I spent a lot of effort on digital effects so it would be nice if anyone gave them at least a bit credit ^^

First of all I have to say the song is pretty damn awesome, Flesh Field reminds me alot of Frontline Assembly or Necrotyl Rising - nice dark Industrial touched music :). The Editing is not that bad either, but most of the bar and geometric effects looked a bit old. Some aren't bad like the one's at 3:05 but the major amount of them was rather distracting so I'd find a way to integrate them into the actual footage a bit more so they don't look that much out of place. Also you might have used the intensive action a bit more to sync the music so the use of that much effects wouldn't be necessary. Anyway it's a fun video, mainly because of the awesome soundtrack, I definetly need to get a Flesh Field CD if all their songs sound like that.

Thanks for the review, Warheart ^^. I thought that the rhythms at most parts were too fast (and irregular like that damn main rhythm during the stranzas) to just sync pictures. If I had done that, you would have seen a lot of cuts and flashes and eventually, died from a heartattack ^^.
However, next AMV will probably be slower and not dominated by effects, I promise ^^

I only know the album "Strain" by Flesh Field where 'Uprising' comes from. The songs on this CD sound pretty similar to each other. (actually, they sound so much alike it might annoy you after listening through the whole CD...)
I noticed that there are 4 (?) other AMVs on a-m-v.org using Flesh Field songs. I don't remember whether all of them are download-able but I'm pretty sure all songs have originally come from "Strain". I would suggest you download them (if possible), especially the "Epiphany"-one, that's the quietest (and best) song from the album, I think ^^.

Well, I'm on it. Getting the amvs right now. Just a little hint you might be interested to know, that Kristyrat aka Krat makes a very good Flesh Field amv at the moment. I'll pm you when it's done so you miss it since you're not the most active person arond here. ;)

Voice of Dissent as far as I remember, he only told me once but he edited the song so it's not the original. Still the Video looks pretty damn awesome so far.
