Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

SRW: Original Generations mix

Post by ghoulhunter » Thu Nov 16, 2006 6:46 am

From the trailers, comes this amv. No footage was taken from the TV series.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=133047

Mirrors:

Best quality version, wmv
http://rapidshare.com/files/3563739/OGS ... x.wmv.html

Worst quality version, mp4
http://rapidshare.com/files/3567003/OGS ... x.mp4.html

I don't care what people say about wmv. I like it and it does the job very well for me. Plus, more people can view it without having to install codecs.

Will upload the so-so avi version soon.

I lied about it being SRW@3, but hey, it'll take awhile if I label is as SRWOGs, and that awhile is what I don't have, sorry.

Enjoy, leave some opinions. This is my 2nd amv, so I need someone to point out my errors and such. If you have time, check out my first amv as well.

You are nuts. You use wmv for HQ and mp4 for LQ. This amv is a big blasphemie in thermes of encoding and compression in my eyes.

It is sooo hard to download CCCP or VLC-Player for watching an amv. :?

Blasphemy? lol it doesn't even matter. 90mb for 720x480, 3000kbps, 4:10 is reasonable enough. there's no harm in it. I don't think anyone running on windows OS will have troubles playing this one. You're just putting down wmv for no good reason.

I will, because that bitrate just is too much to playback on my everyday computer.
Well can't really say anything productive as I haven't dl yet.

Well I like the source. But there wasn't enough Weißritter in there.
As you obviously didn't capture the scenes yourself I don't belive the HQ version would improve much.
Good choice of song, but just not enough Weißritter.

P4 2.4 machine works fine with me. That's saying much, since that machine is severely outdated.

Blame Banpresto. They didn't want to show much of Weiss.

HQ version keeps the quality of the 2nd PV's footages. That's the only difference.
Good choice of song, but just not enough Weißritter.
Wait until the game is released. That time, I'll spam so much Weiss you'd come to hate it ;)
