Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Since you want feedback from this site we strongly recommend you upload your vid to this site. You don't have to do it, but there aren't many people here willing to suffer eye raping that youtube quality does just to watch a vid, that may or may not be good.
If you don't know how to uploadhere is the guide to the org.

Re: My first Kenshin Amv
I took notice of the fact that it's your first video and that you're using a horribly over-used anime along with a very cliche, run into the ground emo-pop song. A combination, which btw, has already been done TWICE before (that's not counting any possible misspelled entries...looks like there's at least 2 or 3 for Disturbed).
Further I noticed that your codec choice is WMV which is a dead give away that you created it using that idiotware program Windows Movie Maker, a piece of software than you can liken to a "Video Editing For Dummies" book.
So, based on that criteria I made like a high end corporate resume filtering scanner and deemed your video not worth my time to watch. Well, maybe next time I guess...assuming you can overcome the metaphoric "spelling mistakes" if you will. ^_^
Oh, coincidentally, MOST other people tend to use a very similar method of determining an AMVs basic worth, so if you would like to reach a wider audience (with your next AMV) I would suggest you seek to overcome these "spelling mistakes" as such that are working against you.

...why on earth would you expect feedback the VERY MINUTE you upload your video? I mean, what, do you think the entire planet was just waiting up all night, on the edge of their computer chairs in eager anticipation of your no doubt "incredible" Windows Movie Maker bumbling? No offense or anything, but generally unless your video is REALLY good and just so happens to be like REALLY popular...yeah...not really gonna get a lot of opinions on it.vazh wrote: see it doesn't matter if i upload the vid or not i still dont get feedback
Usually if you're not in that category and you want opinions you need to run circle jerk style and put up some like opinion trade threads. See you op someone's video and then they op yours and you both give each other real high scores so you can slurp each others asses real good.
...hey, at least I'm honest.

What spelling mistakes are you taking about and i dont care if its an over-used anime i happin to like it. By the way the song isn't emo-pop sorry your wrong their. You said my amv isn't worth your time well it seems to me that your time is useless anyways seeing that your wasting your time writing about something you didn't even watch.

...note to self, do NOT use metaphors when conversing with tweenagers.vazh wrote:What spelling mistakes are you taking about
Yes but you also seem to care a great deal about getting opinions, that being the case, using an anime/song combination that's already been done...not really the best idea. But hey, like I said, you can always go the circle jerk route for opinions.and i dont care if its an over-used anime i happin to like it.
Well now there's some spelling mistakes for ya (no, not metaphoric ones, real ones this time). ^_^By the way the song isn't emo-pop sorry your wrong their.
I'm typing all this to try and help teh n00b crowd out...which may or may not include you, even if only ONE n00b happens to pass by one of these posts and listens to the advice...hey, good deal. Plus, there's also the whole entertainment factor. As skilled in SE (social engineering) as I am I certainly wouldn't try to deny that I wasn't expecting you to completely misunderstand most of what I posted and, yes, there was a small part of me that was hoping you would spaz out for the sake of providing us all with entertainment...however education was truly and is my primary goal through these discussions. You said my amv isn't worth your time well it seems to me that your time is useless anyways seeing that your wasting your time writing about something you didn't even watch.
