  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

With all the complaining, I feel like making another version with a bigger watermark just to add fuel to the fire. :P

EDIT: I've tried getting an avi encoding it via XviD but as I said before, for whatever reason it looks horrible compared to the MP4.

All I can offer is the WMV which is about the same quality as the MP4 just a little bigger.

Right click save target as
Download

For the record, I'm always going to use a watermark, if that turns you off, don't watch my videos.

A watermark doesn't affect your editing ability and having or not having one doesn't make you any better of an editor.

Let's move on shall we? I think we can all agree to disagree on the watermark issue.

As for the video, I had a problem playing it at first but it played fine in VLC. Once I got it to play, I thought it was rather well done. I have a few minor nitpicks other than those I mentioned previously, such as having Saber turn around even though the lyrics say she won't turn around @ 0m 44s, but overall I found it enjoyable.

If your storytelling is good, lyrics sync can be avoided in most of the cases.

Other than this, I didn't have any problems while watching it. It was a good video and I really loved the anime, so I'm keeping this one
Hahaha, that "rain" was an effect? I was fooled then, I thought it was actually in the anime.

I liked the vid, especially the use of black and white. The rain effect worked well too. Good beat sync while still maintaining decent mood/lyric sync and flow.

Editing wise I would probably have modified the angle of the rain a bit to give it more variety, by the end of the vid it does feel just like one show of rain put over the whole vid with little thought to the effect, although you did turn it off once in awhile.

As to the watermark debate, you used a colored watermark in a video with a lot of black and white footage, do you even realize how wrong that is? I had to mentally force myself to try and look at something other then the stupid thing. I would suggest you drop the logo, it's distracting when TV networks do it, it's distracting as hell when you do it. Fraud is not as rampant as you think, and a 'NOS' logo says nothing about proper credit if I saw it randomly in some other vid.

You didn't credit Yamaguchi Yuji for his editing when you stole your footage did you? No of course not you just slapped your logo all over it like you invented the shit.

I'm rendering and uploading an unwatermarked version. Afterwards, I will not visit this site any longer.
