Thanks for comments, each have its opinion and I respect that even if its funny to read from some of you like gaurry (lol),
But for the contest it self if u wanna argue about the ranking go directly to contest page I am not a judge and I dident get to choose my position.

Do you mean our judgement was biased because of nicknames? If yes, you're wrong.
Well, I haven't seen your final version yet Dn@ but I can tell you I'm not a big fan of the 1st one personally. It really is a great vid :
Transitions DID impress me, the flow is great, it's clearly better than any FMA vid released (yeah, even Traumerei) and it's certainly NOT random, any FMA fan gets what you did in this video.
Anyway, only Creed and you were in the top 3 of every judge so I guess you deserve your victory (though you weren't my first lol)

The differing opinions make me lol. ;__;
/thought this was better than Creed's video because to me it doesn't seem like a random video.
ANYWHO. Like I said on my comment on youtube it's definitely better than most of the JE videos (which were quite disappointing this year ;_;) and I really enjoyed watching it.
So yeah, the best FMA video I've (personally) seen, since usually I don't like the FMA videos and was able to finish watching this one. :3
So yush! I thought you deserved to win and this is my favourite video from you.

Finally a good Brotherhood AMV, I've been having a hard time finding any of interest. Loves how smooth the transitions in this were, and how many characters you were able to use. Also, Hohenheim.

x2. FMA is one of my favourite series but sadly it's difficult to find good videos for it so I was really happy when I seen this video. Also I was definitely impressed with the transitions. Good job and going in my fav list. Keep it up!Hagaren Viper wrote:Finally a good Brotherhood AMV, I've been having a hard time finding any of interest. I'm in the camp that thinks this didn't deserve to win. That said i don't think it's bad. Its technically a very solid work. I just do see why this won out of reasons named above. Now what brought me to posting:
I'm sorry for causing some drama since in the end i don't think this is a bad video - its a average video with solid editing but i srsly don't see this winning and its most certainly not the best FMA amv ever since that award would go to "From the Ashes".
Anyway congrats for making first!
Dude you can talk as long as you want but judges knowing the identities of the editors is always making the voting based. Hell even my opinions get more positiv for friends and less for editors i detest.MimS wrote:Do you mean our judgement was biased because of nicknames? If yes, you're wrong.
No its not. Its a random work with sporalic lyirc synch and while one can see that the editor enjoyed working on it it totally lacks ideas while using a overused source previously used in a better way. Traumerei had some good pacing and serious emotions (inb4 tastes are different: No they are not. Either you have taste or you don't.)MimS wrote:it's clearly better than any FMA vid released (yeah, even Traumerei)
So i like FMA and i watched those shows and i don't get it. If you need to explain what it is about it is most certainly random to the viewer. If this is so special that only hardcore FMA fans get it then why does it win the contest?MimS wrote:and it's certainly NOT random, any FMA fan gets what you did in this video.

I haven't seen the end of Brotherhood, so I haven't watched this whole video. But what I did see was very impressive from a technical standpoint. Good job!
