Re: Bittersweet
It's very pretty, and I enjoyed the flow and the mood, but found it hard to understand how the characters related to each other. The way you structured the introductions to the characters and the placement of narrative elements made it hard for me to follow. (Hopefully this makes sense,) I liked the scene selection (emotionally), but felt the sequencing of the scenes could have been better, at least for an audience unfamiliar with the show.

It is a simple but very good work, it should be noted that the concept is interesting as a my I like, called me the curiosity the anime, perhaps when you have time to see him.

Nice job.

Thanks all (:Hikado95 wrote:It is a simple but very good work, it should be noted that the concept is interesting as a my I like, called me the curiosity the anime, perhaps when you have time to see him.
Yes, definitely. That's something I continue to work on with every amv I make. However, I intended for this amv to be more thematic, so I didn't focus more on the storyline on purpose. The only thing I tried to squeeze in there was Arata's (black hair) small story, which was him falling out of playing the game, but returning in the end and therefore reuniting with his friends. Then there were accompanying scenes of the other two being conflicted over him being gone, and yadda. Even that's pretty rough, but my main goal was focus on the theme. I'm sorry you couldn't get more out of it having not seen the anime, but I'm glad you enjoyed some of it nonetheless. Thanks (:Warlike Swans wrote:It's very pretty, and I enjoyed the flow and the mood, but found it hard to understand how the characters related to each other. Re: Bittersweet
Gah, your AMVs continue to amaze me.
The mood was spot on, and I loved the color contrasting between each other with the darker scenes and the brighter scenes. I loved the constant change in the state of mind of the many different characters, showing us so much in such a little time frame. I loved the effect with the pink floating characters on the top/bottom. Absolutely beautiful.
Although it might be a tad difficult for non-Chiya fans to really get the deeper parts, I still feel like there's a story here that can easily be read and understood.

Re: Bittersweet
I saw this on YouTube. I really enjoyed it, even rewatched it (which is something I don't do often I guess?). As some others mentioned, I liked the pink floaty texts you put in. They added to the video nicely.
Though to be honest, I didn't really understand the video that much. I haven't seen the anime, so I was a bit confused. And at some of the younger kid scenes, I couldn't tell if the kid was the girl or the longer haired guy LOL. But I guess I can't blame that on you, 'cause that's not your fault.
I honestly love your videos a lot, and I have a crush on your editing. All your vids just seem to "flow" so nicely, and I can't help but feel a bit envious. Heh
Anyway, good job, Alex.

The Naked and Famous
I downloaded this right when it was released, but wasn't really sure what to say. It was well edited, but for some reason I can't put my finger on, it just didn't do anything for me. Maybe it's the anime I cannot connect to. Sorry
