I had that same problem on my new video encoding with lame in virtualdub. I noticed you also did the same thing I did and joined 2 diferent audio sources together, Did you by chance use AVIsynth to join them like I did? To fix it I ended up Exporting the Audio line to a wave file from Virtualdubmod, encoding the audio seperately in winamp, then using Direct copy mode in virtualdubmod to interleave it into the video. I still have no idea why it acts like that, but it worked. you might want to try that.

As for the actual video:

That.... was the BEST berserk video I've ever seen Period. I now definately want to watch this series, glad I decided to watched it. Very emotional clip choices, the story and characters were developed well enough that even me not seeing the anime could understand most of it. and your editing was simple, yet flawless. Good Job.

Actually I did all my audio joining in Premiere, so I really dunno why it went wrong. This is however, the first time I've used intro credits in a video since before I started using premiere, I have no idea why it would, but that may have something to do with it.

And thanks for the comments on the video, I'm really glad you liked it so much. NOW GO BUY THE BOX SET

That was damn powerful stuff. And for a change, a video about someone other than Caska, Gatts or Griffith. I think it's one of the better Berserk videos out there. Good song and you did well with what limited footage you had to work with for the character.

Howerver, I thought some of the editing was much too fast given the mid-tempo beat of the song. In some places it works fine, adding a little excitment, but like during the chorus it needed to slow down to keep in rhythm with the music. I'm actually suprised how fast it was considering there wasn't a lot of visuals to work with. I thought you said there was mostly stills - but there was a lot of motion I saw (fading in and out; cuting rather quickly).

The only problem was the audio. However you did it, sound does not play when you immediately open the file. I have to jump and back track in order for it to kick-in. A minor clitch.

Thanks a lot for the comments d00d. As for the speed of the video, what I really meant by "lack of footage" was an interesting thing. It wasn't that there was an actual lack of Judeau in the series, he's there in pretty much every episode. The problem was that about 80% of the time, he was just to the side of the screen for about a third of a second. Thus we get to the still frame aspect of the video, a lot of of this video IS in fact, still frames, they're just faded in and out quickly because most of them are the third of a second bits that I mentioned earlier. As for the audio, you're not the first person to mention this, it works fine for me and a few others, so I really don't know what the problem is, but I'll try to figure it out.

Finally I get to see it *kicks modem*. That was one helluva different approach from all Berserk videos I've seen so far. The theme itself and scene selection gives it high originality points. Ingenious song choice too, it grows on me more and more. Judeau is definately my fave. character after Gatz (cause Grifith annoys me :P) and I'm glad someone made a tribute for him *adds to favourites*. If you want we can exchange ops. sometimes .
