- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The original MPEG that I sent to Otakon 2k4 for screening has better quality, but is a whooping 500 megs.Maverick7013 wrote:I think a remaster would be excellent... possibly with dvd footage.
It'll be while before I pull out the old Premiere files before I can export a smaller, clearer version. What has been uploaded is essentially an avi conversion of the original MPEG at a smaller bitrate. Then converted back to mpeg. Ugly and noobish yes, I know.
Getting the dvd's is a neat idea. I just have to wait for ADV films to hurry up on it. ::sighs::

I also recommend you change your decoder settings (not sure on this one) or crop off 3 or 4 pixels off the left edge and resize back to the original resolution in virtualdub to remove the yellow line.
The yellow line's usually a sign that your export is regurgitating XviD or DivX footage... and is butt-ugly.

9 minute O_o, It didn;t feel that long, and my player said 4:something mins for some odd reason. I think the counter got stuck.Maverick7013 wrote:9 minute video. MPEG compresses hard.Bakadeshi [AuN Studios] wrote:haha that was great. I agree it doesn;t have the feel of a trailer, but it was still funny. Also 90 megs for that quality???? O_O
Anyways, I still think the quality could have been a bit better though. even for 9 minutes.
Anwyays, still a great vid.
