Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Ditto.

As I said while beta'ing I think the addition of overlays is effective and the higher quality source is noticeable. As stated, most of the changes are in Twilight and although it was my favorite out of the two...it appears you made it even bettter :P.

Sadly, due to the incredibly large size of high-resolution encodes, I am unable to provide any actual high-resolution copies for download.

The slightly-higher-resolution XviD encode is currently uploading to the site.

Pure Awsmness. I watched the new and the old version at the same time with different players to see al the differences and I have to say I'm impressed you really made it to top the original since it was already nearly perfect.

awsm, you've improved an already great video. did you use mftoon in the local avi version? it looked watery at parts.

Was it the part with water?

If so, that part looked watery before.

no, whenever you have an area with a gradual gradient in shade or color, mftoon will group nearby pixels into blocks of solid colors/shades and enhance edges between these blocks. but when the area with the gradient lasts over time, the blocks get grouped differently with each frame, so the solid color/shade blocks waver from frame to frame, making the area appear watery. an example is 0:50-0:52. i've noticed it in other videos, including mine when i use mftoon.

That was pretty sweet. quite long though. Probably not too high on the reviewability charts, but great editing and mood synching.
