Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

No offense to Sierra, but I vehemently disagree with that assessment. Even in my best loved multi-source videos (one sits in my top three spots), I still chided the creator for multi-source.Moonlight Soldier wrote: Dont' say that. If anyone can pull off a decent theme'd multi vid it's you.
I simply do not feel the need for multi-source unless it is an alternate universe video with original animation/effects to suggest it or a comedy video.
Here, I truly feel that the theme, and even the editing synch, were simply not enough to keep video coherency. The video never coalesced into something greater than the sum of its parts.
This clearly should have been an entirely BAV video.

I was thoroughly sucked in. I watched it once, and then put on my headphones, cranked the volume, shut off the lights, set it to full screen and ignored my AIM conversations and drowned in it for another five plus minutes.Kionon wrote:No offense to Sierra, but I vehemently disagree with that assessment. Video's are subjective Kionon, and I liked this one. I was about 1:30 into it when I realize I was smiling.
Now if you dont' mind, I feel compelled to watch it again.

That was a really nicely made video
Loved the flow and everything!
Only problem I had with it is something that goes along with the idea of the video. Just that every scene was another moving still of some anime characters face. Fortunately you had a couple of scenes that stood out with a different theme then just profiles and closing eyes. I don't know, maybe it worked for the better since it made scenes like the howling wolf a lot more powerful.

Downloading now. I hope to see many of the changes I suggested, but if not, as I said in the beta-testing, it was a solid and good video regardless.
...I hope nothing I suggested made it worse
