Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Despite your great editing, I was reluctant to like this video for a while because the animation styles of the two shows you used are so different it's jarring. (I kinda wished you'd done something to reconcile the two... color scheme-wise at least.) But I got used to that over time, and now I like this video a whole lot. It really does emanate a sense of spiritual awe. Congratulations on your awards. :D

3:00 - 3:15 is so sad. :(

While watching this on the pro discs I really couldn't get into it all that much, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit, and gave it my vote for sentimental.

Good stuff and congrats!

You know...

This was so much better at home by myself than it was when I was at AWA.

Great fucking video.

I'm just a little miffed about the aspect ratio. I have a widescreen monitor and would have appreciated if it wasn't letterboxed is all ;p.

Otherwise awesome video if not a bit long. loved the dedication, Pheonix style ;p.

That was a necessary compromise. The original sources range from 4:3 to 16:9 and even some in between. So I 'normalized' everything to around 1.5 with a combination of cropping and resizing.
