I wonder why people upload this kind of videos without looking around first at what others are doing? It isn't rare in life to first learn from others how something new is done.

I didn't think the quality was bad at all. Bad S-CRY-ed quality=look at my first couple of vids.

I do agree about the bad synching though, too much of it just played out, hardly in synch with the fast paced song. I'd probably give it a 2/5

Just work more on beat synching.

my first videos had subs in them, i thought it was okay cause most of the videos i saw at that time also had subs in them (well other peoples do it so its okay) I also never announced my first vids on the forums cause it was a "scarry scarry place"... so looking around at what others are doing isnt necessairly the best thing to do... getting advice from other/more experienced editors might have worked better... (though harassing them on aim is never a good idea)

the "market" is flooded with bad videos, if you think thats the norm, or "thats okay" then you will make bad videos cause thats what everyone else is doing... though when i started i wanted to get better, so i guess thats why i didnt continue to make bad videos lol... i just took ALOT of babysteps to get there...

i have to give him props for getting atleast as far as XVID i know my brain would have exploded at that when i first started if i tried to compress like that... (wmv ftw?) so i guess credit there, now he just has to learn "the right way" to compress...

by the way i havent seen the video... O.o
