Thanks!x2
Fulfills it's purpose and direction. Nice video.
I had so much more animes planned for this but I started getting tired of all the encoding (with filters) which was taking a lot of my time.I <33333 this song, and the use of the animes chosen were a great add. It was interesting, I liked. Smile
Thumbs up
Thanks!
Glad you liked it. P.s thanks for the opI'm absolutely amazed
I think your mistaken, I'm pretty sure the KH footage is properly cropped and resized since I read the ''AbsoluteDestiny & ErMaC's Technical Guides to All Things Audio and Video mk2'' thoroughly to get this right, unless you can prove me wrong.Holy crap that was awesome. But...the Kingdom Hearts aspect ratio was messed up Sad And why must every single video that uses Pale Cocoon end in the EXACT SAME WAY? Seriously...
Other than that, awesome video, it really caught me off-guard. jasper-isis's Journey of Hearts is better though
Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
The ending to Pale cocoon just seems like something which brings a great sense of closer so thats why I went for it.
Glad you enjoyed it

When it comes to aspect ratios, it's better to use your eyes, rather than go strictly by the guides.

Truthfully, I downloaded this AMV to see if all the praise it was getting on this thread was justified. After viewing your video I can safely say that all the good things being said about this video...are completely correct. I was absolutely amazed by your vid. The mood, anime choice, effects, and music all fit perfectly. Excellent work! I look forward to seeing you next vid.

The footage is 4:3 so this what my script looks like:CrackTheSky wrote:FinalResolve wrote: I think your mistaken, I'm pretty sure the KH footage is properly cropped and resized since I read the ''AbsoluteDestiny & ErMaC's Technical Guides to All Things Audio and Video mk2'' thoroughly to get this right, unless you can prove me wrong.

Crop(0,60,-0,-60)
LanczosResize(640,360)
I could have scaled up to 848x480 so the quality of the anamorphic sources can be better, but decided not to.
Thanks for trying to show me the problem, but I'm still not sure why your one is correct. I can see that mine looks squashed, whats wrong with my script though for resizing 4:3 footage?

I needed to resize the 4:3 footage to 16:9 so thats why I did that. I'm guessing 640x352 is better because it's a multiple of 16.-Good for Nothing- wrote:that's a script for a square pixel resize of a 16:9 source as is upscaled to 848*480(btw 640 * 352 is better)FinalResolve wrote: The footage is 4:3 so this what my script looks like:

Lanczosresize(640,480) which is the proper resize for 4:3

I would have normally resized to 640x480 if I didn't need it to be like the rest of my footage, all 16:9.

cropping is the way to go then, otherwise your footage looks stretched like we saw it, which is always worse than loosing some of the image's aspects.FinalResolve wrote:I needed to resize the 4:3 footage to 16:9 so thats why I did that.
