Seems like the swedish editors league is slowly but steady establishing itself on the org with slowpaced dramavideos. I liked it, nothing special and the end was a bit sudden but all in all a nice video. :)

Yeah, the ending was indeed sudden. I guess the way you tried to shorten the song wasn't all that subtle.

Hmm..

Ayu's story was deffinitely the saddest of the whole bunch, imo. Maybe I just set my expectations too high for this but I didn't really enjoy as much as the concept has potential.. It had it's moments and technically the flow is so very smooth with the fades and all. The mood sync seems to be very right on with Kanon videos and this is no exception. But mood sync alone doesn't really make the video, at least for me. Doesn't matter whether it has Ayu or not :D
Video Description wrote:In this amv i really tried to choose good scene choices and i mainly focused on the emotions.
This is the problem. It looks good on paper but when you actually do it on your video, it looks kinda hollow O.o There's nothing really to get emotional over, no matter how well the mood sync flows. It's usually just about the dramatic visuals and audio with many Kanon and Air videos but they usually don't make much sense..

But, it was an enjoyable video nevertheless, the lack of a story or a theme aside. There's atmosphere to spare and a mood sync a nice Kanon vid needs ;)

3/5

Yeah we swedes will shine sometime  and about the end, i kinda had to make it shorter, had a really hard time getting enough scenes as it was, and the song kinda sucked after the part i edited! But thx for watching and im glad u liked it!

It wasnt bad. Too much lip flap in my opinion. Some nice emotionalness to the amv. Got a little boring though. 3/5

You are going to be good. You are going to be GOOD.

I've only seen Kanon videos with epic footage hideously misplaced, seemingly out of touch with the audio because the editor couldn't harness the grandness of it. But you made it work like I didn't imagine it could. Despite the music I hate, and the source I dislike, your editing talent is just undeniable, and I got taken by it.

So I love your style, and having already spread brilliantly from comedy to drama (with the same source, no less), I can't wait to see what else you can do. Rock on!
