  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

EDIT: I just loved the whole idea with the comic thingy O: but those random colorful brushes u had in the last comic scene wasn't really fit. Although u did a really good job trying to get both the source and song to fit but it still lacked something.

Yeah someone told me that 1:50:1 is the wrong aspect ratio to go with and I kind of looked around and most of the videos here are either 4:3 and 16:9 and I changed the whole thing to 4:3 after the AMV was done. I guess that I will try to get my source in the nice looking aspect ratio to begin with when I start my next project so I won't end up with those problems again :D

Thank you all for the nice comments. I definitely appreciate your input ;)

Nonono, the aspect of your source seems fine - you can easily fix this, and it's well worth doing.
I just had to override the aspect ratio in vlc to watch it in widescreen goodness - you could re-up a fixed version very, very easily. After all the effort you've put into such a fantastic video, it's criminal not to fix a little glitch like this.

I'd just resize the lossless version with vdubmod before you compress it, but I'm sure someone can chime in with a better method. Maybe you could flag it as anamorphic or something :?:

ok fix'd the aspect ratio, I will try to upload the 16:9 version later on local if the org excepts the deletion request. In the meanwhile you can download it from the indirect link if you can't wait for it ;) It really looked better. Hell, I am really dumb for not trying that in the first place^^

Edit WOW !! Bubbler that is some nice quality you did with that script  I redo the whole thing and upload that this way again. It will be up in an hour or so

Did you use zarx264 to encode the mp4? I got a much smaller file when I encoded my version - like 47mb with max (18) quality, and insane checked. And that's at 848x480 instead of 640x480...
Oh, and increase the saturation quite a lot (5-10%?) I forgot to put that in the script, you could use the hsv filter in vdubmod when you do the filtering.

K, so I finally watched this. I loved it.. You're right, there are some masking problems in there, but i'm keeping this.. It's pretty rare for me to keep an amv, but I'll actually prolly rewatch this one. And if you were to release a remastered version where you touch up the masks and whatnot.. you know, to make it flawless.. I would love it for a longggggg time :D. Now this doesn't mean this video is perfect, it was a bit slow moving at a couple parts, but for the most part...It was very good. I'll be looking forward to other releases from you.
