Bitch, don't tell me to "go buy Fiction", I bought Fiction a year ago : P You're better off telling me to get a different album.
This was a very cool tech demo, but as far as AMVs go, it may be my least favorite from you. You probably put thought and effort into the scene selection, but it was lost under the waterfall of layers, cascading down like a torrent of death. I mean, it looked cool, it looked cool as hell... but it just wasn't a good video.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned. Actually, I know that's it. But I like AMVs to have some kind of flow to them conceptually. Like, look at Skydancer. It wasn't simple by any means, but it wasn't nearly as complicated as this, and it was a fucking amazing video, because it had a feeling, a flow. This is just "Hey guys, I'm going to give you some songs so you'll want to buy Fiction, and the video that goes with it will look cool", but that's as far as you got.
You get an A for effort. Everything else... not so great. Some of the effects hurt the eyes, and sometimes it's impossible to even tell what's going on. You won't see me complain about "the absence of anime", though. You did something cool with including the footage of the band, so it's all right.
I'm going to score this out of ten.
Effects - 7/10 - Cool, but overblown and rather useless.
Concept - 2/10 - I've already made my complaints.
So, 4.5/10
You might want to try doing something a little more simple next time.

shit
Im not sure what to say about this, it really had its ups and downs, though im a big fan of this type of static feeling, it just got abit to much i guess!
Still this is a really good work, and you should get an A for effort! 8/10

That was a rather impressive video and certainly interesting to watch.
The beginning with the 3D animation and text really caught my attention. The Origin part felt a bit static at first, but afterwards it flowed really nicely and the colour effects you used really enhanced the visuals to go with the powerful music. Some of the transitions you used between the segments were very abrupt, but I liked that in this case, otherwise the transitioning was awesome and creative. The audio cut was definitely well done too in my opinion.
However, I couldn't really grasp the concept of this video (at some parts better than others though), which is probably due to the fact that it's a fast-paced AMV with extremely many effects, of which quite some seemed unnecessary to me. Just too much going on at parts (as others already mentioned as well). Nevertheless I thought your anime/scene choice made sense, they blended in together very well creating an overall theme.
Also, I think this video would've had even more impact if it was longer, but oh-well, this way it didn't get boring at all, every second of it was absorbing.
All in all, the amazing effort is apparent, but a lot of it seems to have been used on effects.
Still, good job, I liked it.
