- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Finally no Advent Children!
Hmmm, I like how there's (probably) a funny story behind it, but this goes way and way too fast for me to understand it. The clue to the punchline - which is actually the most important thing to understand the joke (dead meat) - came to at my 4th viewing.
I think the biggest problem here is that it feels like so much is happening: the music is already busy and you put in so many cuts that it makes what is happening on screen feel like so much. I think people tend to forget that music can strengthen (or lower) the drama/suspense/whatever is happening on the screen and over-editing on those parts of music will overstrenghten it and balance the whole video all wrong. This is clearly a video where the music supports the video (and AMV-editors tend to go for the opposite). You fall in the trap of synching with editing. Remember what Disney and Warner Brothers did in the old days? I think you should've went for something similar, but in a more modern style of course.
The split screen is confusing, more so because the characters on screen look identical. Moreover it's hard to see who that person is and what the significance is of that person. (I actually thought the main person was sitting in that room because the first shots are so far)
Oh yeah, lose the fades, they don't really work here. If you want to show time lapses, wipes would be a better choices here as it works better as a comical effect.
I probably will watch it again to get some of the hidden (easter egg) jokes - that's pretty cool that you always put in hidden stuff in it!
Overal, the masking is pretty good and it nice to see you try to make a linear story - which I always love - instead of a montage/collage. I like these kind of stuff, but I just wished your editing decisions were different.
Also, I see you cheated a bit with that part after the chat ("dragging down the hall") - unless there's this whole meaning behind which I don't really get. At these times it's a good thing it's hard to see what happens there - I caught it the second time though!
This video actually reminds me to fix and release "A Small Summer Story"
And damn, I should post this as a op...

LMAO!
That was excellent. Even from the start that was just a really cute, clever instrumental with a nice twist on the source.
And then the end. Oh wow.
No real complaints from me. I think you did a superb and creative job with it. We need more vids like this!

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
