EDIT: It's well edited and definitely better than your average DBZ video. I couldn't get completely into it because of the way I view the music. I just dont feel that you captured the atmosphere for most of the video. I think I also over hyped this video for myself I do like the second half more than the first half. I think I'm going let this video settle for a while before I give a rating on it.

This was pretty cool. Only I see this as 2 totally diffrent video's in one.
The first half is more linear with the story. You went straight from the begining of DBZ to the middle of the Vegeta goku fight. Then when you show vegeta turn into ape, you completely ditch going in order and start focusing on the rivalry between goku and vegeta. Since i'm a dbz fan I enjoyed this. But to those who havent seen the series this prob won't peak there interest. For me it's a 4/5
good job.

i completely understand the two-videos-in-one view. the song itself is very unique that way. my strategy for making this video was completely following what the song interpreted for me. that half-way point really mixes it up.

I havn't really seen dbz, but just decided to grab this & I had NO IDEA what was going on. It was a decent editing effort..other than that I don't see anything amazing about this amv. 3/5

Decided to watch this cause I really like your sum41 track... DBZ Bias aside this really didn't do it for me tbh. I think it would of worked alot better if it was an instrumental or something. Had a hard time enjoying this at times cause the lyrics were either unsynced or too farfetched to make sense to the video.

Other then that the beat sync was pretty good. I'm surprised you didnt use many of the hard hit beats though for something. Not really a bad thing I guess just unused potential.

I'm not saying all this cause I'm biased towards DBZ, clearly I can enjoy a DBZ AMV if I can enjoy your Sum41 track. Just didn't enjoy this one I guess. The editing was good but most of the lyrics just didn't seem to fit IMO. Was still worth the watch. 3/5

i definitely made this vid with the idea that EVERYONE knows dbz and is ready to pounce on unoriginality. yeah if you don't know the series this can easily be confusing. all the more reason for you to watch!

yeah i put in my comments i chose this song for the melody and rhythm more than the lyrics. didn't deter me from making the vid tho. and actually i've seen amvs where the lyrics aren't technically matching up to what's on screen, but the overall blending makes em work. more/less what i hoped to achieve.
considering the beat sync, i've seen so many videos that focus so much on that style that originality goes right out the window. to me it starts to look like showing off. so i tried to be little more artistic and use the animation to do a lot of the work for me. example is at 0:13 - my beta tester suggested i add something to the beats there, but i loved the drama that's created without it. another example of this (and one of my favorite moments) is at 1:13.
BUT HEY glad you liked my Sum41 track! -> my next plan is to make a full length vid of it
