I like it, but there are some things that I have thoughts about:

-The song. Come on. Shoot me! As much as I like the song, but I would have preffered a different one with a slightly different mood. Something chilly and alternative rockish. :|
-I would like to see this in a higher video quality.

I actualyl enjoyed this vid, because of the (for me) unique concept for amv standards and that it set my focus on what I actually see and not on nasty sync. That gives you big plus points.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:

I like the feel the video gives. It's quite different than the way most amvs approach things. Although I keep getting the feeling someone watched the music video on the Bebop Movie DVD and decided to do an entire AMV of it.

Every time I see the words "Hello World" I think of C++

On the video: I really like the mood that you created in the video. It's like one of those commercials or videos you see every now and then showing the feeling and energy of life. Really great mix of footage, especially with live action. The anime and live action really fit together in this. I know I'm going to have to vote this best use of multianime or most artistic at the VCAs

Defninantly some great work here. Wasn't really crazy over it though. Dunno, felt like your main character was introduced a bit too late IMO.
Still alot better than most of the stuff I download here.

aesling wrote:I really enjoyed the mood of your video. Very upbeat and joyous. I did think that maybe the style that the guy with the guitar was drawn in didn't fit in with the more real to life style of the other anime up to that point, and I first I felt he was a little strange against the live action, but you did a decent job blending him in so he didn't stick out like a sore thumb in most scenes. I had a few nitpicks, but overall a really good video that I liked.
Aes summed up my feelings on this vid pretty nicely, the thing about this vid that really made me enjoy it over the countless other AMVs I've watched recently was the mood. It seemed more real, more down to earth and in a sense more meaningful. Technically, this video was somewhat lacking, but it was great to see you being experimental about it, and for me it still worked (though I laughed IRL when I saw the boat part).

A part of me wishes that more people bothered to test new stuff out like you have in their videos, but at the same time that's exactly what makes this so special. Good job

Well, I guess I wont bother thinking of an anime I can use for this song anymore then

This vid has a unique feel, it's not like the average MTV-ish (for lack of a better word) AMVs that you mostly see, it just had a style all of it's own. Very unique and reviewable.

I do agree wit Aesling that guy with the guitar looked kind of out of place with the rest of the AMV though, considering most of the footage uses more realistic looking anime, and this guy looks more like your typical anime character. But hey, you did what you had to to get your idea across.

I actually liked the rotoscoping, as he did blend it pretty well. 2:14 kinda made me laugh a bit since he seemed to be strumming completely randomly rather than to the music. Also, bonus points for using live-action footage an actually making it work, I *hate* live action footage in amvs, but this flowed really well.

And am I the only person who didn't bat an eye about that boat scene...?
