Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I wasn't only referring to the live-action/anime mix. I have seen that video and to me, they aren't the same at all.ArashinomeAMV wrote:There have been other videos that have mixed live action with anime...

eh I haven't posted here yet =O
Ok Koopa Troopa. This is one of the most innovative, creative and original AMVs I've ever seen. I feel the need to emphasise 'innovative' as you really did combine 2 worlds, our own and the anime, there is a irreplaceable amount of depth in just doing that and it just shows how powerful AMVs are in reaching out to viewers. So congratulations on that, in my opinion this AMV is another evolutionary move in the hobby, not so much in a technical sense as in this day and age masking is tomorrows newspaper but much more in a metaphysical sense.
I liked the music, the song is really powerful, especially its climaxes at the chorus. I'm also glad you used Thursday for the credits as its the only song I liked from that other album ~_~ I don't care what people say about this video in relations to Kanon and their intepretation of the anime, as I felt you did it justice and captured the essence and emotion of the show superbly, especially in how you segmented all the characters yet made Ayu the central character to weave the stories together IT ALL CAME TOGETHER AT THE END. The addition in the opening of the AMV helped deliver that aspect of the vid.
Okay the one thing I do agree with people and didn't like is the delivery of text. I was sure you were going to sharpen or make the text more clear from the betas, even if its blends well I had the impression that the words had meaning to the video and was there to be read, not all of them but enough to get an idea of what you were trying to tell, but it was very difficult to read so I had to question whether you actually do want people to read them as if can be frustrating if so o_O
Anyway I really do hope you enter the next VCAs as I feel an AMV like this deserves to go down in the history of this site and hobby and be remembered 5/5
...I really should have left this as an op I think :/

But it's not important if it isn't the first vid using live action... your vid was just Awesome one of the better vid I've seen this year. The mix live action-anime is very well done, I imagine it wasn't easy to match camera movement of Live scene with anime, all is very fluent a perfect execution
Good Job Koop !
