That was unexpectingly good. I was very sceptical at the begginning but the creators really managed to show almost every bad way to do amv known to man. Some pieces though looked more suitable for an amvhell-like project since I didn't find any parody in them. Well, nothing's perfect. It still is a very impressive piece of work. Much better than many meps. AND it has an idea in it.

I wonder what's behind it. Since I am not in-crowd, can anyone explain, why Naruto's Technique Beat? Okay, I might know an answer to this one. It sucks and it's on 4th place. But what's with all the profile demolition? Especially of the people authors seem to agree with. Can anyone give me a clue? Here or through pm is fine.

There were a fair amount of 'in jokes' include. The title is an obvious one and I think I explained it in the video description. Unless I talked about tentacle skull fucking instead. I forget.

When Decoy first announced NTB I described it as if a winamp visualization puked on the video. I've been dying to actually show that ever since.

The profile thing wasn't done by me but it's about a previous 'Dedicated to ...' video. Last year I headed a MEP that showed about as much respect for the user Sammy as I showed for 9/11 this time. I imagine Sailor Earth's profile was in there just because her name is in the title. I was mildly suprised my profile wasn't included but then again this wasn't Dedicated to gODIX.

Shortly before this project was released some friends made a birthday video for me that was, basically, 'damn you're old' and Decoy constantly refers to me as 'old man'. That's why the intro text is all about Decoy.

The first video segment was by some guy claiming he was a great video editor. He did give permission to use his video in this project but I doubt he knew I asked just to mock him. As horrible as it was, keep in mind he thought it was the greatest thing since man discovered that sheep don't get headaches.

There were two very blatent parodies that would go straight over someones head if they never saw the original. Whisper of the beastiality of course is about Whisper of the Beast and the credits are a crappy parody of AMV Hell 3 credits, which in turn were a non-crappy parody of Shounen Bushidou. The 8.47 promo isn't a parody, that's an actual project that will be released any decade now.

The drawing dancing around just before the credits is me. It comes from yet another Dedicated to... video, this time my wife. She did artwork representing her and me for it and the editor just took a frame of me from that. I still find the segment hysterically funny, largely because he used a single frame and STILL had interlacing. That's not just a bad editor, that actually took talent to fuck up.

There were other parodies in there but they were generalized parodies of all the badly done, low quality, subtitled using videos around. If anyone else was parodying a specific video or event then I missed it.

the "i am cow" segments were ideas that were going to originally be done for sailor earth's mep but never got made... the "darkwing duck" video is just ment to be stupid and random :/

You know..for some reason I just knew that. When I saw the guy going ">___>" at the end of the cow thing I just thought "That has to be Jadd's stuff" I don't know, that guy just reminded me of you or something. ._. And the Darkwing Duck one...no duh :p

There's a reason the video isn't local. Although even if I put it on local I probably wouldn't have gotten much crap about it. The only major rules that will get you in trouble are sexual nudity, ultra-violence, or insulting another user. Not that it matters but I have been banned before and my ego likes to think I am a legend already.

Oh yeah, I just remembered one more in joke. The final shot of the video comes from an op someone left me that said "It's rare indeed to see a video literally transform your monitor into a giant upraised middle finger pointed at you, but amazingly you have managed." So of course I had to put a shot of god flipping people off in this video. On afterthought I should have zoomed out more so you could see what I was flipping off. I'm just not sure if it should have been the org logo or the top 10% list.

theres a fanclub? O.o... DW was my obssesion before star trek, and before renfaire and before anime
