1:52 - End was pretty decent stuff. The effects were really gaudy looking and the editing just felt off to me up until that point.

Also, asshole or not, there is some truth behind MimS's statement. That goes for any well known studio though, really. Popularity will always play a part in this community until people get the balls to tell their friends something they made sucks. That's just how it goes.

Get a grip, dude. We did this for fun, not to compete. We didn't enter it in contests to win, we just wanted to share it with people.
AMV's are a hobby, not a fucking job. Don't take it so seriously, it makes my hope for humanity sink.
So come back when you propperly can back up your "opinions" (*cough* asshattery *cough*) with something else than "OMG YOU DIDN'T USE THIS SONG FIRST OMG YOU SUCK" and you've stopped being 12 and seemingly incompitent. Then, we can discuss editing, because with your big words I cannot see what makes your videos so much more interesting. Really.

Also, I first only said my surprise about the comments which were far better than the project deserved according to me and justified them by the studio name. YOu were the one who first lacked respect.
I may be an asshole but, before this post I'm writing right now, I never talked to u in the way u and Chii did : LOL?
Plus, saying "omg it's so awesome" is enough, but my 1st op wasn't : LOL?
Plus 2, I mentioned 2 vids, so what about your "first to use the song" thing, it has no value since I was able to say that I love 2 vids using the same one. Back to the judgement stuff : I never pretended and I'll never pretend my vids are good, still, can't I have an valuable opinion on a work?
EDIT : I'll add that my most worked vid uses a song in a famous M@D and that I recognized myself that I discovered it thanks to it so once again : LOL? (though I doubt that you even know one of my vids for real : D)

Conclusion : Everything you say is just useless.

Though Brave Story track shows some technical skills, it lacks some intensity and pace with that music.
Canaan track is just out of place for me... Anime and music just don't suit, plus the editing could be far better. Not even talking about the fact that this is always the same thing we see in MEPs using Canaan
Before the instrumental part, the Baccano track is good, just good because of the effects that ruin the whole track. After that, like for Brave Story, it needs more intensity.
The Kaleido Star is great, I'll remember it and it will be the only track I'll remember from this MEP.
Angelic Layer was a good choice but the editing seems not to follow the music ._.
And Kain kills my eyes. Also, knowing him more than all of you do, I know he can do faaaaaaaar better than this track with so many acceleration.

If you dont know how to voice your thoughts without insulting people, don't post at all. People on this site tell me they are trying to defend how people like you are just trying to help people improve by not "sugarcoating" - but i fail to see any crit in your comments. Your comments are not helping anyone better themselves as an editor, you're just throwing around insults.

People like you are a part of the reason I left this site. I dont announce or upload my videos here anymore because of assholes like you. This is Niwa's mep, I know he has every right to upload and announce it if he wants, but i'm also a part of the MEP so i'm not going to just ignore people who insult my friends.
You can be an asshole as much as you want, dont get on your high horse and expect people to not call you out on being an asshole.
I promoted those videos because I thought they deserved recognition, that was all.
