Hey Qyll. I just want you to know I first discovered your videos last year while I was deployed to Afghanistan. Spent hours on the crapy MWR wifi just to download them, then spent hours watching them over and over again. Let me escape reality for a little while and not think about where a was when I needed to. Its a crying shame that this will be your last, but I want you to know the impact your Animegraphy series was had in my life I can not understate.
Thank you.

I don't watch anime anymore, but I've always found that these were an interesting montage for the year, a sort of retrospect. I've enjoyed your other videos better than Animegraphy, but they're still pretty neat to watch.
Salty people will be salty, try not to pay them any mind and good luck with your future endeavors!

Re: Animegraphy 2015
Thanks for doing these, Qyl. I find Animegraphy to be a sort of homage to anime as an artform, celebrating animation and the subtle nuances inherent in the medium. Seen from the lens of a conventional AMV, I can understand the criticisms leveled against Animegraphy, but I feel like that's not the point of these videos. It's about the evolution (and lack thereof) of the medium, a tiny sampling and reflection of a year's worth of spectacle. Is it meant to be a full-fledged meal? No. It's a sampler plate, but one of those big sampler plate that gives you fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, etc (now i am hungered). Food analogies aside, I greatly enjoy each Animegraphy. Because I don't have the time or even the inclination, really, to watch all these shows. But when I watch these videos, I still feel like I am a participant in a medium that I appreciate and enjoy.
So there's my rambling. Great job, Qyl. Bravo, sir!
