Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I don't really know what to say. That 'video' (term loosely applied) is quite unlike anything else I've seen... The jury's still out on whether it's good or not, but I do think that it's in the 'spirit' of Lain- the visual/aural style, etc. Good work in doing something entirely new.

new? he rotated some fucking bitmaps around annoyingly repetative snow with audio that doesn't climax. instead, it just gets louder. you don't have to know anything about lain's storyline in order to do that.

Ah, but some people like to work OUTSIDE the serie's inherent storyline.

yeah, it takes a real adherent mind to fling images around in a circle while asking people not only to turn their volume all the way up, but to tilt their head to the right and left to 'maximize' their experience.

no shit people like to do that. but what i'm saying is that there's lain in this. why is lain in this. you don't have to have lain in this. you could have a picture of a muppet or dancing phillip's head screwdrivers and still get the same effect: annoyance. besides, what plotline was effective in this video? that she was 'crazy', or that she was 'KUH-WRAZAY!'?

if you're going to step "OUTSIDE" the storyline, try to be coherent with some sort of aspect from it rather than being all out trigger-happy to the word 'crazy'.

now get in the kishen and make me a goshd damn schcandwisshhh.
