well.. if everyone started bashing this video all together it would turn into a GIANT flame war.. and the mods were OBVIOUSLY trying to keep that from happening... they did not want to make the forums Koopists Vs Non Koopists! i personally think the video was ALL effects.. no story, and no point.. just timing and effects... there are a LOT of videos like that though... i wont list them because i dont want to start flame posts about SnHKnives, or teh new koopwannabe person.. so please dont just Bash videos all day, or it will become one big flaming post.. and no one wants that... keep your opinions within reason...

Im in no way a friend of alien's...I could explian way and how but thats to long. I watched the video and thought it sucked and voiced my opinion...simple as that.

OK here it is straight and simple.

The thread was locked as it was an outright flame. The member was warned.

A second thread was made with the same flame and different words. The member was advised to post an opinion directly on the video and to read the opinions of others that have left opinions if he/she wanted to find out what other people thought.

A third thread was made completely ignoring this advice. A warning to stop posting inflammatory posts was made.

A fourth thread was made, in the completely wrong forum, a ban was enacted as threatened.

A NEW ACCOUNT was made to avoid the ban.

Now I do care about people's rights to their opinion and there are hundreds of opinions left on this particular video - in previous threads and on the videos own " opinions" seciton. However, the ban was put in place for the blatant disregard of the forum administration which has continued as the member is creating new duplicate accounts. This is completely against the forum rules. An IP ban is going to be put in place for a week.

Had you listened after the first post, been polite, followed rules then this would not have happened but be a jerk on the forum, inciting flames and this is what you can expect.

Be courteous (rule number 1 of the forums) and you can post your opinion of anything on artstic merit. Flame and you gain no sympathy. End of story.

agreed.. although it was a little harsh at first.. he shouldnt have pushed the issue.. lucky he wasnt banned for longer...

if your going to start something that may turn into a flame war.. and you get shutdown.. just let it go..
