- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Good advice! Thanks a lot! I will definitely keep it in mind if this problem occurs repeatedly with my future uploads. Which it probably will LOL!Ashyukun wrote:I think the reason people may be having problems with it is because, at least according to the 'org's analysis program, it's an MPEG2 file and not a more standard MPEG1. I had similar problems with people not being able to play one of my videos a ways back when I forgot to switch TMPGEnc from -2 to -1 for the distro version.
You're gonna play my amv at AWA during the challenge?! That is SO awesome! I REALLY wanna get to that convention one day! Thank you very much for this honor!Ashyukun wrote:Of course in this case I don't know whether or not it was intentional or not- but either way, I'm not complaining- it means I've got a fairly high-quality MPEG2 of it that we can use for showing at the AWA Iron Editor Challenge, since it's something I know the audience will love.
Hey, Alex! Thanks again for the props, sir! It was good to meet you again at NEXT! I'm sure I'll run into you again at another con!Digitalex wrote:Great stuff Mike! I laughed just as hard watching it at Otakon as I did when I first saw it in AnimeNext.
