- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Eye of the beholder, I guess. And just to note, there is a censored version of the Air PC game. I believe it's available for the PS2. Of course inevitably, you need a hefty knowledge of the Japanese language (chances of the games, TV series, and the movie being licensed here is horrifically slim ).silver_moon wrote:I watched the movie after I watched the series (never played the PC game... as far as I know it's a hentai game...) and I actually enjoyed the movie quite a bit more than the series. The animation was prettier and it stuck to the main story without going into all the side characters. And it made more sense to me than the series too. We were surprised when we couldn't find any AMVs that used the movie... the animation's just so gorgeous...angelx03 wrote:Not many people primarily did AMVs with Air the movie because it butchered the events in the PC game (my advice for anyone who wants to check it out, take it as a stand-alone so you'll see a very good romance film). You get props for that!

I personally liked it a lot. I've been wanting to watch this anime for a while now, and this video just made me eager about it... I didn't get any 'deep' message from the video except for the Love Story (Just as Knives said) but it was a nice romantic video which I really enjoyed, the scenes and the effects you used were (As usual from both of you) well placed, and yes, I really liked the beautiful animation from the Anime.

Well, solid editing as usual. With the trend you two have been taking lately, I was worried that this might get too bogged down with effects, but you really did use what was appropriate, and I commend you on that. I really like how you waited a verse to introduce Misuzu. It really makes a difference in the video's impact when you establish the personality of one character before setting him up with another one. Storytelling was pretty good, but knowing the anime is a near must in this case. That's probably the reason why some of the viewers didn't understand the story as well. The song matched nicely, and I liked it decently, too.
Visuals were a bit of a pain, and all the filtering in the world doesn't really help the fact that the animation style is just different. Still, there wasn't much you two could do about that beyond what you already did.
All in all, a touching and pretty video. Great work, you two.

PS: on an unrelated note, I didn't even realize that there was an Air movie. Now I've gotta see that... >_>
