Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

That seems to be the general consensus, plus this is like their only decent song on their new CD and thats not saying too much.
This statement angers me. There are several good songs on that album. Doomsday Clock, Tarantula, Starz, Bring The Light, etc. I got that video because despite the fact I hate DCG, and that he's done a lot of crappy ideas lately, his editing style is still somewhat decent, and I did rather like his NGE one, despite being overfiltered. He once again overfiltered the footage, had a hueg filesize compared to the visual quality he was getting from X, 1999, and the editing/lyrical synch was 'meh' at best. He destroyed the awesomeness of that song.

He should be saying "i think" not "its the only decent song". I still like his NGE vid tho havnt liked anything he's done since then. I was hoping someone would do a Doomsday Clock vid. He did a crap job.
Special delivery.

Yeah I can't say much about the originality because I was actually inspired to finish an X The Movie AMV by Xnod's Fate AMV with the same Anime. I also have edited 4 other betas to X that you can see in my Lost Causes AMV. Originality wasn't what I was going for in this AMV and usually I don't try to be too original with my Anime choices or subject material. I make the AMV because I like how the sources fit to me and I only release the ones that I fully enjoy when they are finished.
