- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well, I'm absolutely disappointed by your work on this vidéo. You really put lots of efforts to make a video in a new style, with lots of visual effects, with a nice concept and whatever you want but in the whole I didn't like the video at all for some reasons.
- The noisy transitions between the differents songs are kinda disappointing because as a spectator, we never had the time to really enter in your video.
- Concerning the visual effects, it's interesting but I think it's just not enough clean. I understand this is a choice to bring a dark mood or something to your video, but it just didn't work for me. Too much things that distort the animes you choose.
- I'm not a big fan of Dark Tranquility so it didn't help me to appreciate the video in the whole, you know.
I loved Endless Sky, and I liked your latest Iron Chef, and I was so much happy to see your new video, but no, it really didn't work with me. Sorry Alex. Well, I hope I'll like your next work.
Bye

I'm a guy who loves effects so this naturally fell into my top 20 list. But I gotta say, Them effects were totally awesome and I can really see the effort you put into this one. All those beyond amazing textures and all that you customized...
Spent a year making it? A year well spent, I'd say.
And Krystal commented on those transitions, well, the first one scared the living shit outta me. My face was about 2 cm from the monitor with volume on real high, so I almost shit my pants, and that element of surprise truly worked on me. The loud and scary noise was just sweet, and after each transition you changed the style, so you didn't have time to get tired of the effects
One think I am wondering about is them animations in the beginning, the spinning things. did you make them or did you use anime footage?

I dig it.
This noise between the parts was just too loud and nasty, but the effects really please me. My complain goes to the visualy too simpel beginning Ergo Proxy part.
That´s the kind of good videos that actually remeber me why I still like watching amvs.

No. I don´t think so this time. It was alright here. It serves it purpose of beeing an effect festival and it made a fine job.Less is sometimes more.

I think there is clear divide emerging amongst us here with the same old effects debate... At least one thing I think everyone agrees on is the level of effort put into this project, which is highly admirable.Bauzi wrote:No. I don´t think so this time. It was alright here.
