  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Should be something like that ...
For Vegas I would either output the video as MainConcept MP4 with 1500+kbps video and 128+kbps audio. Or output as uncompressed AVI and re-encode to MP4 through Zarx264gui. There's no reason not to use MP4 for encoding these days. ^_^

As for the video... hmmm I am afraid the editing didn't quite work for me; the timing on the syncs are usually ok but the flow of the sync feels very inconsistant; there seems to be syncs on some beats that don't need syns while others that do don't get syncs; just doesn't feel like the video flows with the beat of the music very well.

Since this is a non-combat AC video I thin the shot selection could also be better; the film doesn't lack gorgeous spiritual scenes and those could be used to good effects (for example around 1:25 - 1:40 I would use scenes with long shots, landscapes, etc. instead of a bunch of shots featuring character faces)

IMO could of been a lot better.

The scene selection, scene usage and effects in the video didn't impress me.

You had some nice cuts, and had character movements match the audio.

Over all.. definitively not my cup of tea.

Thanks for the comments you two.

I will definitely try the different compression on my next video. It seems maybe I did not use the right kbs on the video compression =/

Thanks for mentioning the syncs, that I did have a hard time with from time to time. I wanted to change it up during the video so that it wasn't the same sync over and over and that is how it turned out to be.

I just didn't want it to be do do do do do do do do do the whole time...know what I mean?

I am going to work on the flow of my next video in a different way so that I don't beat sync as much as I do in this one but have it flow throughout instead.

Zaraxgui ftw. Also, I didn't know vegas could export as mp4 0-0;. I know vegas 8 can export to PSP which is a mp4 file ... is that what you meant?

Not bad, the audio cuts sort of killed it for me though :(
The scene selection was pretty good, sync wasn't bad and quality was fine for me. The overall flow of the video and the fact you used a video source i'm not a huge fan of also didn't sit too well in my eyes ... there's room for improvement for sure, but it was still pretty good.
