So hang on, I cant host it here? I was rephering to the whole process, not just the info but also the uploading.
OK, no offence, but this site is owned by "the man"(I know very 80s expression), you dont want people linking to other sites because its just not a good investment. Why not keep everything centered here - as long as its at max 100 mb per amv. Oh yeah... great trade off.
Uploading my video here would not only be useless - since no one would bother downloading 1 gb, at what Im asuming is 512 kb/s or maybe 600-700, to see a MEP theyve never even hurd of - uploading this MEP here would be uneficient, 1 Id be doing your work(listing - I dont think painters or other ppl write about themselfs in art critic books, they have people for that called ART CRITICS, HISTORIANS and so on, so what your doing here is just fooling people into doing this work for you) and 2 no one would watch it. a-m-v.org has no autorothy.

So how about we call truse and you understand theres no actual point in me even listing this MEP, leave the topic here because id like to know what other editors think about it...

So any other opinions?

uh... if you made an amv and you want to announce it then we want you to list it here, if you want to upload it you can, if you think that is too difficult then use direct/indirect links instead of local hosting.. your choice, just be nice and list the video if you haven't already.

what we don't like is people coming here and disrespecting the site by not at the least listing their video in the database, its disrespectful for what we are trying to do here... the mission statement of this site is to list every amv ever made, do you not see how coming here to announce but not list it is disrespectful to this community?

the tube is a completely different matter entirely... :/

as for your 1gb file, you can compress it smaller, yea you would lose some quality but a 1gb file is highly daunting and makes me not really want to take the time to download it...

Thus began the quest for the holly grail! Listen to the sound of this text, that motto is &*&^%$$ and you know it. You will never be able to "list" or index ALL THE AMVs EVER MADE! You cannot, I had two amvs that I lost when the dvd that they were on broke. I didnt upload them anywhere... but Im guessing since you want all the amvs ever made, one of these days my door bell's gonna ring and before it will lay a amv investigator, who will draw a chock line for the dvd, will ask many questions about the name of my two lost amvs, the anime and the music used for their birth.

Right... Seriously, leave the topic here, make this one exception, I will list the MEP as soon as I have the fricken time on my hands.

Meanwhile Im trying to see if people like it. On with the opinions...

Who said a mission would be easily done and possible? I mean, If you complete your dream it wouldn't be a dream right?

Besides, it takes like 5 minutes to list a video. So now if you dont have time on your hands how come you still have enough time to replying to posts on this thread? just pure curiosity.

this argument is going no where. don't waste your time on him he's not worth it.
obviously the man thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. let him think that, just don't let him post on the org anymore. Has he broken enough rules for an adequate ban?

That was the best MEP I've seen in years. I don't know what these uneducated fuckers are talking about. Clearly they're looking at a different video or something. Cause I'm actually at loss for words.. Mad kudos my man MAD kudos indeed.
