impressions while watching it the first time:
oh great another super shiney video with all the sources everyone else is using :\
humm not hitting the fast drum roll each time but that's ok it's a sentimental video.
Vat is dis music i must have it!
Well that flowed quite well i didn't notice it was over 4 mintues.
There's a consistant theme running through this for all the "random" scenes chosen.
Despite all the shiney things there are dark scenes of princess tutu they dont seem that out of place really.
I really am not a fan of drama videos they are pretty much boring as hell with the same recycled scenes and garbage, but here I love this possibly because of the song or the way it was put together but there's some feeling i get from this and i actually liked watching it *ok check my tempreture i must be sick*

impressions after watching it the 20th 3rd time:
ahhh scene changes are off in the begining(0.12-0.14 for example).
Like the upsidedown scenes nice change of perspective (not that you flipped em i don't think).
There's quite a few scenes that are much slower and not as dynamic as those scenes around them, they seem to be in clusters spots where you had trouble 0.31 /0.37 just as an example. But i'm not really bothered by them as they eb and flow to the music or more that they are "within tollerance levels" so that i dont notice unless i'm nitpicking :p
Princess tutu is pretty fugly looking footage, I spent ages trying to filter it and it still looked like crap as it has in every video i've seen it used in. It's quite noticeable in this because of the shine-ness

The ef footage with outlines looks a little strange.

and wow every time i watch this i still have to sit back and get lost in it, this almost feels like a "I'm so happy despite all the bad things in the world and my life, you give me hope and happiness" video.

and that's my somewhat jumbled up thought process in a direct brain dump.

This was beautiful, not sure I could put it any other way. If you intended it to be an uplifting video then I really think you hit the nail on the head.

Loved the first 37 seconds, as well as the second half where the music really picks up.

My only real concern regarding the video was that when the song picked up the scenes didn't seem to follow as much as I'd liked them to have. This is just personal preference however, but I would have liked to have seen more dynamic shots at the points where the vocals really kick in.

Still, you got the job done, and you got it done well
