I'm surprised so many people complain about the music. I am not totally into English rap, but I appreciate good rap when I hear it.
It's a nice song, creative and cool.

I wish I had a way to end it properly, but nothing came to mind. D:AaronAMV wrote:Pretty cool, bro. The ending was way too abrupt, though, like mirk said
Thanks. xD I'm glad you were able to at least enjoy the editing, if anything.Rito-kun wrote:pretty nice editing in there =) liked the way you synched it ;D
the music is just not my taste xD
Same. I'm not completely surprised the song wasn't liked as much, not everyone will love it, but at least it is unique. I loved the fact that it wasn't mainstream and it's why I chose it.StrawberryKiss wrote:I'm surprised so many people complain about the music. I effin hate rap! Which means you've managed to do a pretty good job since I enjoyed watching this way more than I would've ever expected. The ending was very abrupt though. Overall, nice one. Keep up the good work

Wasn't expecting that one, but I'm definitely glad you were able to enjoy it. I do hate the ending, but the song ends very abruptly in the actual release which sucks.

Pretty good. It did stop abruptly, but other than that there isn't a whole lot to dislike. Not my kind of song, not the biggest fan of rap, but I didn't mind it a whole lot so I don't think that using a song like this is a big problem.

Re: A Casual Story (Available in 720p GOODNESS)
this is good, matched the mood of the song pretty well, especially since rap is kinda hard to edit to sometimes.
I rather liked it.
Since you were going for 720p HQ, I woulda given it a few more bits though, I can see some blocking in darker and more actiony parts still on my 1080p 37" samsung. Given the size of the amv, I dun think anyone would complain about another 10 or so megs on the filesize for higher quality.

Thanks for the comment Bakadeshi. And totally agree with ya on the rap thing, there's just something about (at least the underground form of rap) that makes it so that it can't just be another video where you match beats and hope for the best.Bakadeshi wrote:this is good, matched the mood of the song pretty well, especially since rap is kinda hard to edit to sometimes.

As for the 720P, on my first video I actually cut down on the bitrate, went from 1500 kbs, to 2000kbs on this one since it was an upscale. When I was applying filters for the upscale, I think I may have toyed around with some of the gradients, which make it look that way. Though on an upscale, you're probably right on the higher bitrate. 3,000 kbs would've handled it flawlessly.
As for the higher size, I love trying to compress everything as much as I can just to save people the trouble (those who have weaker connections) so that I can get motivated to work towards a cleaner encode.
Thanks on your input though, it means a lot given your level of editing.
