Originality is not dead.

I kid, I kid. This idea has been explored before in other videos (maybe not other GWLTT videos), but I have to say this was one of the most striking and memorable. There are some really, REALLY awesome "Whoa" moments throughout this video, and some of the best use of text I've seen in a video in...well, maybe ever. The slowly-going-crazy feeling you were trying to convey came through perfectly, thanks in part to your superb editing, as well as the awesome scene selection and use of some pretty unique effects. In other words, all this video's elements have a rare synergy that makes the whole thing greater than the sum of its parts. I have no real criticisms. There was even the vague outline of chronology, which, given the video's subject matter, is better than a clear one.

This makes me want to edit again.

Okay so...i SORTA KINDA GET EET. But i wont necessarily say you pulled it off the way i would have. I really dig the SONG. Where you find this good shit ill never know... LOL

Song was really good for this. I loved the syncing moments and then the effects moments, and how you blended them.
The amv overall is original and creative and thats always a plus. i REALLY liked the stalker text. That made my day.

I felt after it goes back to "reality" that it should have stayed in reality because it just seemed like it didn't GO anywhere after that. I was like oh shes hurt and not actually in that world...but then you see that just go away and not really come back. Then shes crying and it just confused me. I would not say this was necessarily scary enough if you were aiming for horror either, but the bit with the hallways and the VERY easy to miss text (at least I missed it) had me on my seat. I also think the color key effects were making me OCD when i watched it because i felt it looked a bit dirty, but yeah trust me, i would never mask all that...a good effect that is a good combo with keying is usually levels. If you tinker with it, you can get it too look really smooth like an actual mask.

In the end...id prob give you a 4.5/5 for org and a 8/10 for akross.

Keep doing what your doing man! :D

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

I'm really glad to hear it ) yet it consumes quite a number of errors that makes me want to break my monitor from time to time...

When i was talking about errors that keying wasnt the one though ;P those texts were meant to be missed, those "out of context footages", those "what the hell" moments, those annoying sounds and obvious glitching were meant to be where and how they were :P
I suppose It failed to afflict you.

And so far no one mentioned the errors I've made.. which makes me think I've been bit of a paranoid ))))

Well thank you people, I'm really glad to hear your comments, even though i only read them o.o

Alright, I'm not afraid to already call this one of my favorite AMVs in the history of ever. I've watched it dozens of times and it's still fresh. I think one of the things that makes this video so immersive is that the viewer doesn't get hung up on the scenes, the transitions, or the visual candy that is so often either the strength or downside of a video, and instead looks for the meaning trying to be conveyed. You used those things (scene selection, effects, etc) to your advantage, but the video didn't focus on them. Licking your subconscious, maybe, but the viewer expects to find a story and therefore can develop their own interpretation- and that's always fun.
Most things I write would be reiterating what others say, so I'll try mention something that hasn't been said much... The synch, both internal and obvious beat-synch, flowed (or disrupted the flow intentionally at certain times) great. EDIT- Almost forgot to mention it, but I couldn't help sensing similarity between this and Qwaqa's "Time" for reasons other than the obvious. Might just be the clean, almost professional feel, but am I right in noting at least a bit of influence?

I was about to mention the spelling errors since were asking nicely, but ZetZu beat me to it :P Other than that, though, I really did not catch any technical mistakes. If there was stuff you would have liked to change but couldn't due to time constraints (happens to me all the time), then you shouldn't really call them flaws. Tiny details usually go utterly unnoticed anyways, and because of the constant great editing in this video, its "big picture" aspect is way more prominent as opposed to the individual components.

This replaces Bustling as my favorite "shiny" psychedelic AMV. Good luck in the contest, and I'll be glad to see anything new from you

And about the local, i didnt know that it was a problem at all. (got it in 5 min after uploading the vid)
Actually, I was referring to the Akross rule about not uploading to other sites for a while, but I guess there's no problem with that anymore.

I had to watch it a couple of times before writing anything. To be honest I don't like most of the text, especially the word 'Stalkers' appearing at some point - it felt totally out of place. But that's the only thing I don't like. The atmosphere grows on me more each time I watch this. It's not exactly fun to watch, it's weird and unnerving, but that's exactly how it's supposed to be - so I guess you achieved your goal. This definately goes right into my psychodelic collection.
