Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

And here I thought Alice managed to fix some repetition and sophistication issues that I had in GP Sorry it didn't work for you. I kinda see where you are coming from since the sync/effects heavy approach can cover up everything else. Thanks for the comment.
Paradoxly no! Because in GP these repetition and sofistication had an order and a structure very much more interesting. Your use of close shots in contrast with others more large, the black and white in contrast with the color, the editing devided from maniacal synch and parts more slow, graphics which had this structural wonderful sharp pieces of glass with beautiful composition and pictures in there where at the end of the sound makes very expressives still images (like a photo, like a lost memory, like an obsession... these type of things expresses the most) every single regard you put in GP was much more interesting connected with theme, atmosphere and mood, which I repeat it has all these perfect maniacal structures. Meanwhile in my opinion in this video there are just repetitions of the same thing with a style not so interesting for theme and boring effects, maybe it's much because song and anime didn't help you as petit cosette. In other words all this comment is just to tell you that you should put your maniacal effort on the video body. Synch and effects are really secondary and noisy if you manage them without thinking on what you want show to the viewer. This can relate telling a story or maybe just expriming a mood, but you have to care on it!
Everything to say I'm one of your fan! I tried to give advices from my point of view and I need other videos like GP!

Thanks for all your insights. I know what you mean and it certainly isn't my intention to totally cover up everything by technical stuff like sync and effects. I'll try to improve in the future :D
