Ok, you made me have to drag the video over to my bigger screen to see this (I had watched it on my laptop). You're right, it is possible to tell that it's the same scene. Well played indeed. I love easter eggs.DriftRoot wrote: It's not a random Premiere project, it's the exact shot of my monitor of that precise point on this AMV's timeline. (I am nothing if not thorough!) On a big screen one could probably see the clubroom scene itself playing out on the monitor, or at least get the idea that that's what it is.Spoiler :
Takeout - It's lunch time so I'm releasing my AMV

Good, I don't like to disappoint! The Origonal Head Hunter wrote:I kept expecting you to make some reference to that commercial, and I did not walk away disappointed. I laughed all the way through.
I replied to the op (thank you ) but this comment in particular intrigues me. I don't understand what you mean by "cheat."Douggie wrote: Also, I see you cheated a bit with that part after the chat ("dragging down the hall") - unless there's this whole meaning behind which I don't really get. At these times it's a good thing it's hard to see what happens there - I caught it the second time though!
Don't look at me, Haruhi's the one who did it!Koopiskeva wrote:Nice, clean editing and masking.. good stuff.
However, I must look at you negatively for the implication of killing mikuru
My cousin's name is Aaron... or maybe it's Aron...no, that looks funny, it's definitely Aaron.AaronAMV wrote:/gets for having the same name as singer

There will be no sequel!! And you’ve got good eyes if you can catch everything on the second time through.guy07 wrote:Great job. Tons of little things i didn't even notice until i watched the second time. I demand a sequel!

Phew, yeah, if everyone could spoilerfy their comments that might be better...but that would be one weird thread (but this is a weird AMV, so maybe it would be quite fitting). ^_^LivingFlame wrote:Oh wow, that was not what I was expecting (didn't read any comments before watching it).
EDIT:Oh, you and your attention to detail. I love all of the hidden messages you tucked in there. Oh, and the random Premiere project, whatever it may be.Spoiler :
Spoiler :
You know, I’ve only willingly watched one or two MOHS AMVs, mostly because I have this fear that they’re all the same. I like the series, but in an AMV? The only reason I used MOHS is because it let me present this scenario, although it did not turn out much like I originally planned (which is why I almost ditched this AMV entirely until kind, supportive, bloodthirsty beta testers convinced me otherwise). As for the script, most of my heavy-duty tinkering with the footage was done in Premiere. I’m still not perfectly happy with my color/level adjustments, but it looks a heck of a lot more uniform that it does naturally. I cursed the overly-ambitious animators of this series a LOT over the past few months - with all their fancy lighting effects, costume changes and whatnot. They made a lot of things quite tedious for me. Bad animators, BAD!!ArashinomeAMV wrote:Haha, I loved it, and that is very rare for me to say on a haruhi video. The script came out nice too =)
I read “Oh lawd” and I swear, all I heard was Mammy’s voice from Gone with the Wind. ok…omg…have to stop laughing… I’m glad the progression is, overall, getting a good reception. As my beta testers may be able to confirm, I was going bonkers trying to make this go smoothly from Point A to Point B. I suspect people unfamiliar with this series would have a hard time comprehending a) what’s going on or b) why it’s supposed to be amusing.CrackTheSky wrote:Oh lawd, that was cleverly awesome and creative and I loved everything about it. Excellent progression, nice work matching everything with the music...just an all-around awesome, original video.
Scary? That is a tamed-down picture. The one I made originally had a bloody smiley face on the carton, but I backed off because I tend to get a little too carried away with my announcement posters. ^_^ Glad it worked out for you, though.jade_eyed_angel wrote:ooh man dude i dunno. i wanna get it but ur picture is just sooooo
It’s also a bit more than I realize. What did I say that’s so amusing? (If such references are a bit more of something, then it wasn’t intentional J ). Oh, and because you said you liked that boob thing so much, I did leave it on screen a frame or too longer than it was originally. Gotta make godix happy!godix wrote:I find it amusing that your references to the beta testers actually is a bit more than anyone except the beta testers would realize.
Personally, I think the fake boobs are the best part.
Thank you, I did what I could with the chat scene due to your comment about it going by too fast. I know it’s still really quick, but this is all I could come up with.JaddziaDax wrote:good job, I like the final :3 (even going through frame by frame)

I think Yuki and Itsuki also probably approve. They are clearly implicated as co-conspirators.Willen wrote:While Haruhi approves of this video, Kyon and Mikuru do not.
Cool, glad it shows up! I knew it theoretically could because when I was corner pinning the video I was working at about 400X in AE, at which magnification I could see the scene playing as it should, but I had no idea what it would look like on a large screen.LivingFlame wrote: You're right, it is possible to tell that it's the same scene. I can’t believe my Internet connection didn’t go down on my while I was writing all this. Phew!!

Well, in the scene immediatly after the chat you see the girl running in front of the guy as if she's running away from him and then after that the roles are reversed. Do you get what I mean, or is there a reason why this is done which I can't see or get at the moment? (I would've expect she chasing him, then she catches him which results into her dragging him through the hall)DriftRoot wrote: ... this comment in particular intrigues me. Mmm, since I ran across this I'll just go ahead and say it. When she's running in front of him, she's dragging him along by the necktie. (I can even tell you it's from episode 1. )Douggie wrote:Well, in the scene immediatly after the chat you see the girl running in front of the guy as if she's running away from him and then after that the roles are reversed.
