Nice and atmospheric feast for the eyes. Kudos for the effort required to make this AMV happen, though - as some poeple said - quality needs some more work.
However, one thing bothers me:
WTF, mate?

I am going to quote dudex5, who postet this on the Tube:Mastamind wrote: a few things bothered me about the video, though. I thought that the backgrounds could have used a little more motion
"Awesome, I was gonna say you should have used actual video in the background but realised the whole point of this video was to make it feel like time has stopped apart from the characters. Makes it feel so empty and sad."

x2, it wasn't coherent at all too. The scene changes didn't connect at all and so the entire vid felt very disjointed to me. The colour scheme idea was not obvious to me, I would have completely missed it if you had not mentioned it.CrackTheSky wrote:Didn't like it at all. It was no different than the countless number of multi-anime videos that do nothing but sync emotional scene after emotional scene to the music to try to get the viewer to feel something without actually giving the scenes any context, or doing any real work.
Obviously you did work and it's a very pretty video, but in the end it's just a montage of scenes of characters either crying or about to cry. The novelty kinda wore off about halfway through.
I appreciate the work you put into it but I didn't see the unicorn =( Maybe if it was just made for artistic purposes (school project; heh think one of my former lecturers would have liked this) then it worked well but it didn't work for me as an AMV.

This is like transformers II. Astounding effect work, total shit in all other categories.
