Anyway, enough fun, back on topic:

I, like amv400, think there's alot of videos better than Euphoria. The joys of using the org is that I don't have to have Euphoria on my favorites list and no one will care. This user is nothing but bitter and jealous by the fact that Euphoria has the number 1 spot. What he should be saying is, "Congradulations Koop, you have the number 1 spot!" even if he doesn't think it should be there, and if he wants to say more he can politely tell Koop what he thought was not so good about it. Though I don't know if Koop would even bother reading the opinion seeing as he has so many to go through already

Weeeee, im back! Well anyway (now that im on my computer) here are my thoughts on Europia (or however you spell it).

First off, I have not seen RaXefon, obviously, since I cant spell the title =P, so mabye it has a bigger impact on people who have seen it before, i dont know... all I know is that I havent seen it. So, from saying that, I thought it was really quite bad emotion and story wise. I thought the effects were spactaluar, very professional, but some of them are overused and get old by the end of the video. Like ive said before, great effects dosent make a good video, and this one had nothing going for it except the effects... so i think it was bad. Very bad.

But you can also get a further view of why I think it isnt good, due to the fact that I think "Toushi" and "Something Better" are the best videos on AMV. But then again thats just me....

Oh, and by the way (sorry for posting twice ^_^') im Alien's friend (if you havent figured it out already =P) and he didnt mean to flame the video... its just his choice of words can be very selective at times. All we (me and him) wanted to know was why it has such a high rating when there are obviously better videos out there than it.... ^_^

Ya' know, it's fans like this that totally destroy my ever wanting to admit I'm a fan of DragonBall. The people that are so fucking jealous of Euphoria that it drives them to bitter insanity never ceases to amaze me.

I agree with your opinion about those kind of members , but , I think that people who admit be a DBZ fan it's a person with STRONG personality , I mean , somebody that don't give a damn to other members point of view.
I laugh of some members that make it looks that they hate DBZ just to create an image like "Hey i hate DBZ , that means that I'm not a n00b"

BTW , DBZ it's my 2nd fave anime , it's not my #1 , because I have fresh episodes of One Piece every week at sunday ^^

And just to be on topic , I like Euphoria , because the vid it's VERY WELL done , good enough to people create all this polemic around one vid O_o

i really like the video, but it's not one of my favorites, but that's probably cause i haven't seen RahXephon yet

i like the video because i think it's a good character profile/romance video and the effects of the video imo don't carry the video concept at all, instead, the effects (to me) compliment the strange backgrounds noises in the song, so if there were no weird noises, there'd be no effects

but that's just my opinion, seems like two videos rolled into one, one with a concept and one with kule effects.. a nice combination

I liked the video, It is definately the most technically advanced video I have yet to see. Timing is imaculate, Yes there is timing, you would have to be blind to not see it. And lots of it too. Even so I still spoted errors in his technicalities, so its not perfect. Is it my favorite? No, and this is mostlikely attributed to me not seeing all of RaphXephon. Koop says theres a story in his discription, but I can't see it amidst all the flashy effects and moving stuff across the screen.

To me, Euphoria is just visually pleasing, and because of this it got old after a few watches. (Incidentally I thought it was awesome the first time I saw it)
The video has waaaaay too much effects for anyone to actually be able to pay attention to any story in it.

I think the point AD and them where trying to make was, yes you're intitled to your opinion but, no you're not intitled to hurt other peoples feelings.

And by straight out saying euphoria sucks, that could really hurt someones feelings if they took it seriously enough.

I think euphoria had alot more heart thanpeople give it credit for, plus like one person mentioned, without it alot of people wouldnt be editing today.

Inspiration is a bitch of a thing. You might see something today and go, "HOLY CRAP THATS THE BEST THING EVER" and it could inspire thousands of spinoff's... Ten years down the road you come back to said thing and say "geez what was I thinking" (FF7?).

It's all in how you phraise art I suppose. I find euphoria as usfull as a vangou (ep?) or a picaso. While maybe to right now's standerds it's not as rare as it once was. It's still pretty beautiful, and it's still the original much like kevin caldwells stuff.
