Okay I love the singing transformers! I swear the guy from the village people almost sounds like Hotrod, lol! You really did make a lot of work for yourself with all that lip synching, I bet Kakashi was as refreshing as a summer breeze to lip synch ^_^ hee hee! Anyway great job!

Really, the one thing that pretty much brought down the funny is the commentator. I'm sorry, but that was pretty bad voice acting right there. The lines were good, but he just needs better comedic delivery.

Fun stuff. Is it just me or did the Great Balls of Fire video seem a little familiar? :P

(Not that that's a bad thing :>)

Agreed. The crowd at Sakura-Con whined and went "AWWW!" when the Transformers were cut off. LOL!

godix wrote: Overall meh. It made me smile before I deleted it but delete it I did. Felt like you had four attempts at full length vids that you gave up on halfway through and tried looking for a way to use whatever you had done anyway. Props for star trekin though if for no other reason than digging up a copy of the cartoon.
I'm sorry about that I forgot to put up the Godix uncut version with the extream sex laced auditions.. my bad :P

YMCA part was too long.

I lol'd => good job !
Liked keying in the motions

3.9/5
some say it was too short... oh well, I loved making that segment so much I did not have the heart to edit it down
TaranT wrote:I guess I'm with some of the others: worth a smile or three, but the humor felt artificial. Some of the best lip sync I have ever seen, though.
I don't know comedy is so subjective... AMV Hell is kind of like that and still people want to see it and laught crazy in crowds... The more I run comedy blocks at cons, the more I notice there are not a lot of funny videos unless with an audiance...

Ironically, in 2002 I figured I would never do lip sync as I figured I was reallt bad at it... go figure :D
sayde wrote:While I failed to find this to be overwhelmingly hilarious, I did enjoy the concept. But the amount of masking and the quality of the cut-outs is what I enjoyed most. This amv re-inspired me to get my ass in gear and finally finish my own cross-over vid (at least for the time being).
Well, I glad you like that aspect... I really tired to make an original concept that was not tied down to be a typical AMV... Also it's hard to make a real popular and good comedy and have it totaly family friendly (not impossible, but harder) That's why I have to always have a late night AMV vcomedy block in the AMV rooms I run

HA, I was wondering how long that would take!!!! Yea, I used my source clips for that video as I was really crunched for time... But it's only the background and save a ton of time finding them again or getting new ones.

Actually, funny thing is since I premiered it at Sakura I kind of kept tansformers in the back of my mind making it as I know how much the crowed there lovle them!

they actually had a narutotrek con here in florida :/
was the the inspiration? sorry if thats been covered, kinda skimmed over the thread.
wasn't so much into this one, vlad. but the transformers got a laugh out of me, which is more than most comedy amvs get.
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.

Ironically, yes the Naruto con did inspire that part... Hmmm.. wonder how it turned out...
