- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

I have to whole heartedly agree, although I only saw the first 30 seconds or so since I had to close my eyes and plug my ears until the rest was over :\CrackTheSky wrote:Saw this at ACen, didn't like it at all. Way too much going on, effects were just...meh. I couldn't tell what was going on in the video for more than two seconds at a time, and it annoyed me. Also didn't care for the music.
2/5
From what I saw, it was just layers of editing over layers of editing, over....layers of editing. Couldn't see a damn thing and it just hurt my eyes to watch. Sorry dude.

This one gave me mixed feelings. The editing was superb. Effects were all over the place, and reminded me strongly of the Project Relic grunge style. But at some points there were just too much. I liked the audio partly, but not all of the tracks were my cup of tea. The Origin, Spirits of the Past seemed the best one to me. The transitions were strange. I liked the first one, it gave a little WTF feeling, but the ones after that were too sharp. I guess it's 4/5 the least just for the effort.

Don't get upset about minor things, people just like to compareBauzi wrote:It´s not that Decoy owns hexagons and -GfN- owns grundge style
They just addopted the style for amvs. That´s it.
But I agree with you on that one
btw
I know I'm bothersome, but is there a way to get "Ashes of the coming Dawn" yet? *impatient*Warheart wrote:

I was searching on how to comment on this amv since it's way different from what I like and what I usually see in amvs.Thankfully,CodeChrono pretty much sums up my op on the vid so x2 to what he wrote...CodeChrono wrote:Definitly pretty to look at, and I agree with Zarx on his points.
Yet, I think it was a tad overkill. There's a difference between "artistic" and colossal mess. It wasn't quite at colossal mess, but it got really close at times. At the 3 minute mark, I really got into it the most. The other stuff was just a tad too much for me.
I think somebody else said something about it being hard to see the anime in it, and I agree. The whole first part was a blurred mess for me.
Transition from segments kind of bugged me too. It was really harsh sounding.
Score wise? I really can't score this because it's in a different league than what I usually score. I don't consider this a real "AMV", it's more of a demonstration of effects. :O
Couldn't understand almost anything up to the time the grunge style kinda left and the blur faded. It was at around the 3 minute time stamp I think...The transitions between the songs were also abrupt but that was due to the nature of the songs so not a real problem in this section.
As a whole,it felt way too much like a test of effects and not like an amv.
Sorry man but I couldn't find anything interesting in it,despite your hard effort and the grand effects.Like Darius's Spoil...
