- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hey, not my favorite video of yours - I'd mostly put it down to the music and the mix of sources which was a bit eclectic to my taste, in terms of animation quality especially - but I can't deny the good editing job here, especially on a pure visual pacing level. Lots of editing talent showing there (not that I'd ever doubt that in your work). I think I actually liked the video best when it went into purely abstract imagery, and things like drastically different character design styles didn't get in the way.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Pacing, audio sync and energy are fantastic. Problem is that scene selection seems either completely random, or scenes were simply chosen on the basis of how much motion they contained. I also couldn't draw any connections between the song and the source, nor between clips themselves. Weird choices on source too--why so much from Pokemon and the Animatrix?
As raw stimulation it's reasonably entertaining, but there is pretty much nil narrative value, and the aesthetics are all over the place. Lacks cohesion.

It's exactly what I thought : "another Magic Pad ?". But, as for Nostromo's video, I liked it, actually. Pokemon footage is surprising, but not shocking, so good use of it inthis video. ^^ Like Magic Pad, it's very well made, it's a splendid video (even if something is missing, IMO).» AceMan wrote:To tell the truth, I was afraid that it will look a little like Nostromo's masterpiece in some parts and it'll be compared to it.Still, I love those movies that look a bit like Magic Pad, I mean, the main idea seemed pretty much the same to me
Congratulations.
