You're biased =OBrad wrote:My favorite AMV of yours. Friggin awesome.

EDIT: Fucking awesome. My only complaint would be some of the green/purple scanlines in the beginning, which I thought were prett much unneeded, for the rest it's very cool, good job!
=3Nessephanie wrote:Yay video ^^
Awesome stuff :3
Sweet deal.Janzki wrote:Oo very tight. Me likey.
Overused concept means nothingIngow wrote:not my cup of tea, thought that the concept was too overdone and the tv look effect was unnecessary
=Oosnar wrote:mmmmm very well edited but, my eyes were -> @_______@ after watching, imploring me to shut down the player xDDDD
You'd be a fool to vote otherwise.-BL- wrote:Best Instrumental for VCAs 2010
It's true. It's an issue with using Australian anime dvds, the encodes either have un-removable interlacing or just lower quality in general.Falconone wrote:great video, but sometimes i thought the video quality was not the best. But it was nice, randrom but nice
Cool.Neverend wrote:This was truly one of the best amv's ive seen! I loved it!
Great job prodigi! (And brad, that outro was friggin win)

Funny, I thought the same about your comment.Kevmaster wrote:Didn't catch my interest.

I could understand how you wouldn't like it for that reason, but that was actually the effect I was going for >.>Pwolf wrote:I didn't like it that much. It was kind of disorientating and hard to follow. which could be because i'm feeling sick. Might have to rewatch it when i'm not already feeling disorientated, lol.
Watch the official music video to get what I mean.
Yeah I thought about that but by the time I got to that point I'd laid down almost everything and liked it how it was so *shrug*Kristyrat wrote:Cool, nifty and smooth. However, it's something we've seen so many times before, and I think you could have tried to spice it up a little to give us something new. Some of the editing felt a little slow, or plodding, but for the most part it was right on.
I would have loved it if you'd pursued the scene relationships at about 1:50, where you've got the dude tossing something (keys?) and then Jue catches her sword. The link between the two clips was reaaaally cool, and I think you could have done some fucking slick stuff if you'd tried to do that more elsewhere in the video. Just a thought, would have spiced it up a little more for me. But either way, well done.

So 5/5 for me, 2.5/5 for Brad? LIFT YOUR GAME BARD.ArashinomeAMV wrote:I absolutely fucking LOVED the editing, but I think the effect choices really drug the video down for me. The color scheme over the whole thing and the TV simulator type effects just felt bland and gaudy.
Editing - 5/5
Video as a whole - 2.5/5
Woot, thanks Thib.Dark-Krystal wrote:Nothing To Add.Brad wrote:My favorite AMV of yours. Friggin awesome.

Thankies.nZen wrote:i really liked the editing and scene selections, great job
kept me watching it without stopping
and that really was an awesome Outro
Mainly the one with that guy doing that thing, the other one with that kid doing that other thing, and then some clips about the one covering that subject.Nya-chan Production wrote:I would like to ask which parts were used, since there are parts of AM which I don't like much ^^;;
Shush. Do not reveal the motion blur >.>Niotex wrote:Its sad when I can tell exactly which external motion blur you used.. Overall a smooth and slick video but as stated before it seems more of the same. And while there are some subtle things that are completely new to you. And some of which are relatively new to us in general. None of it seems to have jumped out and grabbed me.
Still solid but nothing batshit insane.
I disagree.OropherZero wrote:editting was really good, so nice job on scene selections and placement However I really didn't like it, just a personal thing since I neither like The Animatrix nor high amounts of external synch and rapid cuts (there were about 3 very clever internal synch moments tho), I can definitely see the editting merits =P
Bananas.ZetZu wrote:Really liked this. Tight, funky, solid.
Good job
That's not a pineapple =(~MimS~ wrote:My favourite Animatrix video...
What else?
Very good job!
Coolies.Darklydone wrote:Great stuff. As random as it was I saw alot of connected scenes that were very well done. Clips taken from one part of the animatrix film but ended with a clip from another part of the film. 01:50 as an example, one of many of these scenes I really enjoyed.
Brad did do good with the credits.Senka_fr wrote:That was a good amv even if I find that animatrix amv are all very similar...
Oh and I like the tv-simulator effect and good job to Brad for the credits.
8/10
K.Zenkia wrote: I thought it was oki...nothing special except Brads awsome intro and outro =]. But overall great job!
Above decent. Obviously you're one Prod-hater.Michael188PL wrote:well it was edited pretty well but it didn't work on me feels like watching the same thing...and this tv-stimulator/scanline/whatever it's called ;P annoyed me like hell , still pretty decent job.
I wanted it to be as random as possible. I even considered removing the running man and skateboard segments and re-editing them with random scenes.MycathatesyouAMV wrote:Not digging the tv like effects and some of the feathering. Some of the editing was pretty good but the scenes felt way more random than they needed to be.
Cool.Pas wrote:Pretty nice, it takes pretty impressive editing for me to actually sit though, and even more enjoy a vid that uses animatrix for the source footage. That being said, there were some parts of the video which either just dragged out or didn't seem to fit, either with the song or the preceding scenes. 00:47-01:05 was personally my favorite part of it, along with the part where you matched the object being tossed from one scene to another. Very tight and smooth sync, the flow is nice too but sometimes doesn't work so well.
I like it a lot, and while I may have some issues with it, overall it's pretty awesome
Oh, and very cool intro/outro brad, I gotta learn how to do that sometime O:

Thanks.Fizziks wrote:A really cool video to watch. The beat sync in this AMV was awesome! Good work!
Yeaaah, I liked editing those bits =w=Kitsuner wrote:The editing was pretty slick, and I particularly enjoyed the bits where you took a handful of similar clips from different segments and smashed 'em all together, like the running and beating of the women about a minute and a half in. On the other hand, most instrumentals are hard for me to pay attention to (though I was hungry while I was watching it, so that definitely helped the distraction), so I sort of drifted in and out. I liked what I was seeing, but I just couldn't keep watching the same cool thing over and over.
I'll watch it again later when I've eaten something, but like a lot of the other people have said, there wasn't anything new to really catch my eye.
It's the only good AMV using Justice. Osnap?Verses wrote:It's the first AMV that I've seen that used Justice, I thought it was pretty sweet .
I dug the beginning a lot.
I won't even touch that statement.Infinity Squared wrote:Tight.
Once again, I steer clear of that statement.Funky-kun wrote:Yup, tight is the correct word to describe it. Sync was very good (both internal and external), but the video as a whole felt too random for me.
4/5

I beg to differ.Prodigi wrote:It's the only good AMV using Justice. Osnap?Verses wrote:It's the first AMV that I've seen that used Justice, I thought it was pretty sweet .
I dug the beginning a lot.
Anyways, I liked you vid, even though Animatrix is a bit overused by now.
