That's fine but what I am doing here is defending my thesis that it's basically a pointless action video (note that I am not saying worthless). You did a very good action video, that's for sure but it just doesn't have a point. Also, I am trying to give some suggestions for your next AMV if you ever make another one.VEGETA_LSSJ wrote: First of all you have to realize that I made this AMV just like I want... I think I balanced this AMV for my taste very good, and that is what I wanted and what I always want...
Okay... Action AMV's don't tell stories about a individual but rather of their battles which is quite similar to what you're doing though.Yes it is action like, but I never limit my self about generes...
As I argued before however, I never said it has to have a timeline but that it should have some continuity. After million times - It does not have to have storlyine it should only tell about VEGETA's life in genereal...the most important parts...
Nappa's intentions? What were his intentions? I didn't notice anything about his intentions in the AMV unless I missed it. Flashback? To me the whole video is a flashback with a bunch of fighting...It is flashback, he is remembering NAPPA and NAPPA's intentions and than he remebers
Okay but that takes the problem a step further, why did Vegeta need the power for? Was he not the prince of all saiyans and doesn't need help from anyone? Well Vegeta obviously didn't want him but he did need him for the power...VEGETA is the smart one, ya know!
It is telling story, but only in general, don't you think it would be little stupid to put scene where VEGETA is having a bath or something similar and not so important for his life? though for me everything is important in DBZ
An ultimate goal is well known and it is shown in scenes like fight with GOKU on the begining, but I can't focus whole AMV on any goal!??!? becuase it is in past tense it is almost like big flashback, and that is over! he don't want to be "better than KAKAROT" anymore, now that those all scenes are over, it is past tense he is only summaring his life and speaking of what he lived through...and I wantd to put more problems which he lived through not only one...
Yes it would be silly to put that scene with such a song. Fighting Goku doesn't note the purpose of Vegeta's ultimate goal at all. I don't understand why his ultimate goal being "well-known" means you should just leave it out. Everyone also knows that Vegeta claims to not be beaten and is the prince of all saiyans. Does that mean this AMV shouldn't have been created then? You can't assume things but if you wanted this music video for action then that is fine as long as you can admit that it doesn't have a point besides of course Vegeta claiming to be the one...
Um what? I didn't say you only had to focus on Goku but that you should've retained some continuity. Vegeta always wants to be better than Goku... That's again fine, but remember what I suggested?
For example, you could start with Vegeta's ultimate goal and that is to defeat Goku for what he's been through. Of course first add that talking scene to make it better... This way, people will understand who Vegeta claims to not need! This would make perfect sense as to what he's fighting for and then adding the touch of his past is great!
Booooy! This actually makes me happy! all this text because of my AMV man! this is great!
Yeah but it doesn't really tell anything except for telling us who he didn't need and committing self destruction etc. It's better to not just focus entirely on action but also give more details about Vegeta's life in regards to his ultimate goal. Again, Vegeta killed Nappa because of Goku...He sacrificed his life because he wanted to be like Goku in some way as being the good guy...He wanted power because he wanted to defeat Goku. You don't have to repeat the goal because giving information about his past is good as well but doesn't mean anything.but I just think it is good enough balanced action with VEGETA's life telling......
Hehe well I applaud you for taking this the good way. Some people would probably get angry at me for expressing my thoughts.
