Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I got the file in around 2 hours, give or take a little bit.

My download cap is ~106K/s, and I was at or near that much of the time.

Not enough seeders

Post by WilLoW :--) » Thu Oct 16, 2003 8:03 am

according to the stats, about 375 persons have the file now, and currently there are : 4 seeders...
I know I'm one of them, and I consider it totally unfair since I've been seeding since last sunday.

I'd say that at least half the people who got the file are pure leechers.
Next time I suggest we don't give the link publicly, but tell people to ask it by email, with the promiss that they will seed. Maybe it'll help.

I'm disappointed.
I know some people have sed this file as it was asked to do, and certainly most of the creators who already had the file helped seeding. but well...the leechers suck.

I'll stop seeding on friday evening I think. After that if the torrent dies, well the DVD will eventually come

Here's what I told on french forums, and people have respected this rule :
"seed at least the same amount of time it took you to get the file".
I think it's a good way to make that stuff work.

I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I'll fire mine back up when I get home- I'll try and keep it running for a while when I'm not doing something else online that it would interere with (like the ever finicky GunBound).

So there is a possibility of projects not on the Dvds being shared by people on Bt?

which ones ? all DDR projects (the three of them) will be on DVD... (the first one wil be on the DVD of the 3rd, if I understood well)

we can share anything that's worth it with bittorrent...
in fact I was thinking to the DDR4, or (as I'm more concerned by that) to Animix.
When I said "next time" I meant "next time I'm involved in the creation of a torrent I'll do something like that"...but it may not happen.

Seeding again, though I don't know how many people are still downloading.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.
