I would like to know if I have managed to improve. Please?

- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I don't know the history of this whole conflict and I don't really care.
That said, my advice is that you should not expect to make a video devoid of technical/quality based issues until you have dvds from which to obtain your source footage. In terms of editting, it seems like you've got the basic idea down, but lack experience. The more you do it the easier it will become to envision which scenes work and which don't, as well as when to cut/fade/overlay. Keep at it and you'll improve with time.

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I dunno, the dvds of these particular episodes have been out for a while. A bit costly, but they get the job done.iamfanboy wrote:Yes, I was editing with DivX - the DVDs aren't currently available, and (quite honestly) I'm not interested enough in the video any more to seek out the masters of it. It's there, it's done, and now that I have a cleaned-up version waiting to be uploaded I'm content. Next two videos I make I have the DVDs to rip from, so quality will not be an issue there.

Awsm, I'm exempt.iamfanboy wrote:So, what did you think, sirs?
Actually, I downloaded both videos, didn't read the video information, and I didn't pay attention to which one started downloading first. And considering the file names are almost exactly the same....I didn't know which was which, even after watching them.
Neither of them seemed better than the other, just different.
