Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

damn, I really missed out on replying I guess.
anyway, you got my main thoughts as I betatested most of it.
good stuff, it definitely is a good way to kick off your new style.
I am, however, reserved about some of the effects, even touching cheesyness at some points (despite the overload, but I won't complain about that).
as for the future, I'd say try something different other than multilayering and manipulate the single clips you're working with, rather than creating joyous shake trips.
my take is, I like it, but it's a video that shows your style was developing while you edited this. my fav parts would be the soultaker one and the ergo proxy one, simply cause they are the most consistent.
7.9/10

Well, I guess everything has been said by now. I'm glad I got this huge amount of mixed feedback to make me realize certain things about the video such as there is a majority of people that don't like the massive use of effects and layers.
I can assure that the next video will look like Endless Sky again and won't abuse AE to this extend again due to a lack of time and after editing my recent IC I found it to be as enjoyable to edit in Premiere as it is in AE, so after all the feedback I figured I might just edit my next video in Premiere again.
As for the people that complained about the concept of the brakes: Read the videoentry information since this wasn't planned to turn out this way, but another working with GfN and Deaf Jester.
But at least I was able to show that I haven't been doing nothing the past year and made a video that is liked by folks that actually watch amvs for the creativity or the music and not for the sole sake of the anime shown which was my intend for the very beginning.
So thanks again for the feedback.

I'll say this dude: Make videos how you want to make 'em, and everyone else be damned. The audience may not like it, but if you're satisfied, then that's what you should be going for.
Like I already said, I didn't like the video myself, but if it's what you want to do, then by your metal soul, you'd better fucking do it.
