[Invictus] Anger of the Samurai
This is what happens when you try to cram 27 episodes into less than 2 minutes.
fail banner made with fail MSpaint, whadaya gonna do?
When i started this video i was just going into it with "song + source = vid" mentality but then i set a little rule for myself. I had to use at least 1 scene from every episode in order of episode. Some episodes have like half a second and others have over 10 seconds and by the end of it i ended skipping like 4 episodes (not to mention the middle has some out of order clips) but i think the rule succeeded in it's purpose. I didn't fret over scene selection but i also had to get more creative with which scenes i chose out of the next episode. I also had to use a wide variety of clips, where as i probably wouldve sat down and used a few fights and it wouldn't have been very entertaining.
I still don't know exactly how entertaining it is, but i'm hoping you'll enjoy.
Special thanks to Adam for the song (we used it in an ic, go figure)
(inb4 "fx ruined it" or "see, you used ur 'God tier' and you STILL suck")

Re: [Invictus] Anger of the Samurai
You finished this already, huh? I'll grab it, I really dug the beta.
Edit:
This was fantastic work, dude. Besides some of the blurs being overdone and you blowing out the contrast way too much this could have been a 5/5. I wish you would've done a final beta test with me, it could have been absolutely perfect. Regardless, this is easily your best work so far, you've really outdone yourself. Phenomenal video, dude.

Saw this on the tube awhile ago. I really enjoyed it. Nice editing in general; good colors and pan/crops (if you used them.) Nice timing as well. Wasn't even oversynced.
I liked the whole "rule" you had going. I like videos that go in chronological order, because then you also sum up the series pretty well, which you did. Kept it at a reasonable length, etc etc.
Yep, really enjoyed this. 5/5

I love these types of AMV's.
It was well done, interesting, well synced and kept a consistent flow and jam to it. It also covered a wide spectrum of emotions and feelings that I personally had watching the original anime, which with this song was hard to do, but you accomplished it quite well.

thanks code, one of the things i was going for with this video was variation, and i guess buildup somewhat, so the emotion thing makes me think i succeeded
