Cross†Point

Post by Aggressor » Mon Jun 28, 2010 6:43 pm

Made for the Fast Start contest held on AMVnews.ru. This time I aimed for a completely alternative and understandable story, but didn't have enough time to work on tech aspect as much as I wanted. Well, it seems the story itself didn't become worse because of lame credits :)

downloading now.

/Aside from the fact that I had no idea what the lyrics were, I still found this enjoyable and interesting. The fact that I could discern a story from that is saying something.

You know dude this was pretty awesome!
I didn't really look at the description or anything I just dove right into the video, and I was surprised at how many animes are in here.

You did an amazing job combining the clips from all the anime together to make it look whole.

I couldn't understand the russian but I think I got the story.

5/5!

Awesome work!

Holy shit.

Had to rewatch a couple of times.

Too bad I don't understand Russian.
Excellent amv 5/5.

I stopped it about 1/3 way through, not because I wasn't enjoying it though. I was wondering if you had an english translation for the song or could give some important bits. I think If I understood the lyrics a bit I'd enjoy this alot more, not to mention your story. From what I saw it looked like the lyrics were playing a big part in this.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

idk, I kinda liked that I couldn't understand a single word being sang, It really helped the story shine through. Trust me, if you can't get the story from JUST the video...then idk.
