Won't Let You -Haibane Renmei (Charcoal Feathers Federation)
This video is a profile of the relationship shared between Raka and Rekie. Though it does contain some spoilers, I don't think it would ruin the video for someone who hasn't seen the series.
Back in 2005, I picked up this series rather haphazardly because it was one of the only animes for sale, and I liked the artwork. After watching the first disc, I saved up the money, a considerable investment on a series at the time; and a trip that involved over two hours of driving. To find out that it had been sold out and I could only get the second disc. It took me some time to get the series, which I finally picked up almost a year later at Anime North.
I went through the rest of the series as fast as I could manage in the evening after work, and after I started working on some AMVs and concepts as well. I went through about three videos before settling on this one in the winter of 2007. And just before I completed it after around 30 hours of editing, my system failed, and I lost all of the original content, and the only copy I had was basically garbage.
So, about three weeks ago, imagine my surprise to find that I still had that old hard drive kicking around. I was able to fully recover the video footage and that after all these years, Windows Movie Maker files were still 100% compatible. so all I needed was a couple hours of rework, and forcing myself to not redo the whole thing.
So, after 4 years in the making, I hope you enjoy it!
As always, feedback and opinions are much appreciated.
