Feedback on cataloged Anime Music Videos

Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:

Well, first, this is not one of my infamous farewell projects, this video
was made for a friend and of course
it's a little tribute to the amazing "Engel" AMV made by you-know-who in 1999.
"What!? Are you copying him?" No ! =O I wanted to edit with the same concept
in my mind: Asuka!! Asuka!! Asuka!! Asuka!! Asuka!! Asuka!! Asuka!! Asuka!!
Because i just love Asuka <3 And well, some people will say this could be 1156156 times
better in After Effects, and i know, but my computer really sucks and that
beautiful software can't be used here...so i just edit with Vegas :bzz:

Of course we have a story here, but...could ruin the surprise so i
put this in a spoiler (It's in the amv download description anyway...)

I always wanted to edit this specific AMV. The idea
is Asuka's dream, influenced by the music that Shinji is
listening in his room with his portable stereo at full volume.
Asuka is dreaming how kickass is she but the dream changes
into the worst nightmare for her. Shinji proclaims to be the
main character of the video and....

It started off pretty good, but when the effects kicked off at 00:45 it became a drawback for me since it doesn't exactly fit Evangelion somehow (I'm not too fond merging fanarts with anime in most cases, but with the right method it could've worked) I would've suggested using the same layout as you had at 00:17 throughout the whole video.

Nice video and a great tribute to Engel.
But seriously,what kind of imagination do you have to make Asuka dream and then let Shinji overtake her dream?
Someone must have watched Inception lately... :awesome:

About the fanarts,I liked how they merged with the rest of the video and definitely fitted where you used them but hey,try adding the english translation so that we can appreciate more the vid.
